How old are you guys? I am guessing like 14-17...so much "mother talk." lol. no offensive meant.

I'm 21 and I'm just remembering on how things were back when I was in Jr. High, mom didn't like me playin to much games.

I don't have a gf right at the moment, been single for about 2 months now. But when i did, i put all my video game **** away. I actually met her through latin dancing, so she was the real out-going sort, which suited me fine. I only play video games when i'm bored at home

I'm 16 BTW, it's not my fault I'm not attractive to the opposite sex. So my mama is the only lady in my life..... wait that didn't sound right.:ill:

No really, "You and your damn wheel, you'll be driving a car in two years"

Then I'm like ":irked:" 'cus I don't really have an answer to that.

BTW: I'm 16 :sly:

Real driving is overated, stick with the DFP :)

I can drive in real life legally, but I don't too often because some people are insane when they drive. And I don't want to be around when they wrap themselves around a tree. I'm like the anti-teen, I drive better then most people out there because I know cars can kill if your not careful. I just wish more people knew this so maybe the roads would be safer.

Sorry, I got WAY off-topic.

scratchy
When my girl gets jealous about my "private" time with GT4, she'll sit on my lap and start bucking hey body in this realy exciting fashion that makes me crash all over the track. Or she will start to, um, fondle my joystick (not my dual shocks). But most of the time she gets mad that a game could keep me so interested. Yea, college life is fun here at UCLA.

orly?

Hmm...I see you found my post from my golden year as a college freshmen.
Of course all things come to an end. I'd say it was a good thing, but my ex had no interest in cars whatsoever. That and our breakup was, ummm...., not the prettiest of breakups.
Wow, its just so reminiscent to see this old post again. That was my first girlfriend and we were together for over a year. It was hard to take the stand and say goodbye to her for the last time.
I guess life is like a car: when it crashes you just heal and get over it, then look for someone new.

dun worry about the girlfriend shes fine however the mother is the probloem im 17 so still live at home and regularly see the gf whenever can but satan is always on my tail especialy when im on my last legs in an endurance race it give me the s****.

i know how you feel scratchy, my first gf that i was actually serious with kissed my best friend at the time while we were dating, which doesnt sound that bad but she was my first anything and everything...its sucks...but i moved on...i guess that things like that happen to everyone at some point in your life...and the car quote was insightful...

edit> but my girlfriend now is awesome...shes the one who got me into photoshop and paint shop pro 8...she isnt much into cars though...but she understands how i could be so involved in video games....and plus shes a good teacher because she knows way more about photoshop and psp8 than i do......and shes better at pre-calculus(but not much better)..next year we have calculus together and im a little worried that shes gonna be much better than me in it....wait..this has nothing to do with anything in this thread...im gonna go play gt4...

nah, most hot girls don't dig fun things, I've met a few that do :D

My old girl just dumped me but I met this other girl who loves GT & is hot!!!:sly: :D:D:D

2 months on...
...that would be me then

my wifes used to moan on how i play gt4..non stop. i even wear a headset for my phone in case any calls (i m a consultaNT) from my clients come when I am driving in Laguna Seca. Oh i bought my wife psp...along with the sims2, locco rocco and monster hunter. she shuts her yap. case closed.

(my mom)

Horrible. She thinks technology is the root of all evil, and TVs and computers can kill you. She doesnt let me play.... erm... post on GTP or talk on AIM, much less play my GT1 on PSOne. I wish I had GT2... or a PSP emulator...

Bump.

My girlfriend always interfere with my GT and GTP time. :(

I don't know what is more important, my girlfriends body, or changing my tires on B-Spec mode. *:grumpy:*

It seems that I am fortunate in this regard.

My missus is proud of the modicum of talent I have with the game, has little interest in playing it herself and is quite happy for me to disappear into the Computer Room for hours at a time (and put up with the resultant swearing and sulking when things are not going so well  ).

My current girl doesn't care much. She's too addicted to computer games as well (Bejeweled, the Sims, Tetris, etc) but I was dating this lady 3 years ago and if I was on the phone with her and playing a videogame I'd have to have the sound real low! I remember one time the TV was pretty much as low as it gets. I wasn't even racing,, I was listening to whatever she was talking about but also setting up my car at the same time

beep boop

Her: "WHAT'S THAT NOISE? "

Me: "uh..."

Her: "can you please listen to what I'm saying??? That's not one of your videogames again is it?"

Me: "well....uh"

Needless to say, we didn't last more than a few months. It wasn't just the gaming of course....:nervous:

Sarah: Stop driving your Motor Carriage and take out the trash!

Me: But the Motor Carriage doesn't have enough torque to take out the trash. :ouch:

Sarah: OMG... WTF!

Me: Do it yourself you have more torque.

Sarah: Bloody hell.

The GT2 web site I made many years ago really ticked her off, though..

How come? Hey you know it's pretty hard to find the proper link to your GT stuff on www.FormulaNone.org , every time I need to reference a car nowadays I can't find it! Where is all the GT links? It used to be so easy! I'd need to look up the [R]weight of a VW Golf or something...I could find it in seconds! Now I seriously can't find what I'm looking for anymore...did you remove that part of your site?

Greetings All Ye Of GT Planet!
Milady of 27 years is a patient soul, but has become vexed of me as of late. I suffered my third accident of the year in my Cooper S, as a direct result of my playing GT4. I think the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back was when I bent her beloved TT Quattro.
I am indeed fortunate that she has the patience of Job.

Wait are you talking about your real-life Cooper S and TT or in the game?

Good Squire,
Alas 'twas my daily driver, a 2005, Liquid Yellow, John Cooper Works car, complete with OZ wheels, Cooper Works ground effects, T-Rex suspension, and chip. The first mishap was to side swipe the armco on Arizona highway 83, the second was to launch it into a row of mail boxes, and the third was to try and cut an 8 inch high curb in milady's TT. Bent that one fairly well, to the tune of $1239.21.
I am indeed grateful for her forgiving nature.
Just call me Crash And Burn!

P.S. Ye olde insurance rates have skyrocketed!

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that...that really sucks. :(

the only problem my wife gives me is when ahe wants to play crash bandicoot or some other platform (cause she loves them). she is not really a racer mainly because she does not like to brake when playing car games.

man i should get another ps2, this will solve all my problems.:)
