What games are you playing now?

Well I finished Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars III The Clone Wars last week and had fun with it! However, I am taking a break from the Lego Star Wars series and just to shake things up a bit, I’m going to replay the Spyro series again just as I did last year. Except this time I am going to be playing them in sequential order instead of starting with 3 and then playing 1 and 2.

After beating Spyro 2 last year, I came to the conclusion I needed to play the series again at some point in the future to truly get a feel for all 3 games before playing Reignited. This was something I regretted not doing with the Crash Bandicoot series before playing the N’Sane Trilogy, so naturally I’m not willing to make that mistake again.

As of today, I’m finally committing to it and I’ve started on the first game. So far I’ve already made it past the Artisans homeworld and tomorrow I am going to do whatever’s next. I’m hoping maybe I’ll have a better time with the game than I did last time since it didn’t do as much for me as the others did. Should be fun! 😎

We started Wii Party with my wife. After 10 years, I got the wii working again. It's still a lot of fun.

Ongoing:
Diablo 2 - Hardcore Paladin now 97 with half a level to go and then once more up to 99. Until now I found 1 Zod rune and 2 Chams, but 0 Ber and 0 Jah :(

New:
Drova - interesting scaling of character progress. Keeps me in the game for longer than expected for now reason I can explain, so I have to assume it simply is a fun game.

Avowed is overstaying its welcome a bit. The overarching story never really did it for me, but I liked the gameplay enough.

Zones 1 & 2 were fantastic, by zone 3 I was like "let's wrap this up now".

I'm now in the fourth and final zone and I really want it to be over NOW.

And only 2 days later, I have already beat the game, and sure enough, I had a FAR better time this go round than I did before! I guess since I know the game better now, I was able to enjoy it more and fly through it a lot faster. It probably helps that I started with the first game instead of the 3rd one this time because it means I wasn't fighting all that muscle memory I had from Spyro 3, which I had been used to for over 20 years.

Going to start on Spyro 2 tomorrow and continue my playthrough series. I don't want to do it today because I feel like I need to wind down a bit after playing Spyro 1 so much today. Looking forward to revisiting Spyro 2 again because I had a blast playing that game last year, and I think it might've been the funnest thing I did that year. So I am enthusiastic about seeing how this one goes tomorrow! 😎

I'm on the final chapter of Yakuza Kiwami, it's been refreshing to play a game from start to finish without getting bored BUT at some point the combat started to get a bit tedious, I feel like all the moves you unlock aren't very well documented so I kept finding myself in situations where I thought "I'm sure there's a move for this situation" but couldn't remember what it was, so I just muddled through the hard way, and bosses have like five health bars now which is kinda dumb, like, as I've unlocked skills and abilities they've also gotten stronger, faster and have more health so I'm not really sure what the point was.
