I just started this myself. The Game Awards trailer looked pretty interesting & two of my friends have raved about 3 for years. I think both of them have around 200 hours a piece, which is great b/c I've been wanting to play something different from my usual sports/sim/management grouping that I can sink a lot of time into. Was only $10 for the game + both expansions & I've enjoyed it so far still in the early stages of tracking down Ciri, so a good value.
Finally coming to an end on The Witcher 3, just a few more missions left in Blood & Wine. I ended up liking it a lot & I think the 2 DLCs are actually even better in terms of story telling. Has me excited for #4, however many years down the line that is.

Picked up RDR2 for cheap during the Spring sale, so that's next.
After about 13 hours of AC Shadows I’m still enjoying it immensely. I was trying to think of a game that is closest to it in feeling and I have to say that Metal Gear Solid 5 is probably the closest in how it feels to play, which is more than I was expecting, but very glad that’s what we got.
How many hours were you in before Yasuke showed up again after the tutorial? I watched a streamer I follow play it to see if I might enjoy it, and looks like something I'll probably pick up down the line. But, he put in quite a few hours and it looks like it spends a large amount of time setting up Naoe's backstory (which is fine).

Took me about 12 hours. I did do some side stuff like a few castles and other things. If I just focused on main story it would probably be 10 hours or so.

Around 26 hours in now and I’m still getting amazed by this game. They truly knocked it out of the park.

red dead 2, and it's absolutely stunning..still getting to grips with the screenshot/photomode thingy

Oh wow. How does he feel play as? I've seen a lot of comments that he's a very unique character in the franchise, in that he relies solely on strength & brute force than stealth. I recall one person saying he's like a tank that gives the player a "boss-like" approach for your enemies.

Yeah, the intended way to play Yasuke is just using his weapons and abilities, which is a lot of fun. You can also go stealth using his bow, which is going to be a lot harder, but can be fun too. I usually do a bit of both. First use arrows to clean up some of the enemies and then unleash his might on the rest of the enemies. I am mostly playing as Naoe, but switch to Yasuke as the situation demands. It feels pretty organic to me and feels good to mix it up.

Finished:
EA WRC - again, I liked the physics feel of the game (heck, could GT finally be this good?). But I wont miss not playing it anymore, the feel of competition is not the same when just running on a clock no matter how close it can be set to the own driving skills.

Almost finished:
Sniper Elite 5 - authentic mode sure is challenging without all the "player aids" that one could use in the run to collect all the items on the missions. But with the unlocked starting positions some missions almost feel like they are solved right on starting.

Next on the list:
maybe finally find time to play RE4, otherwise it propably ends up being Nine Sols.

I finished MGS - I'm a hyena now, makes a change from my usual pigeon - and have been playing VR Missions since. I'm almost finished, just got the VR mission, Ninja, one more puzzle and maybe half of the advanced weapon mode time trials left to do. I'm not going for high scores, I was at first but the weapon mode time trials are really hard! Also I don't know if I've ever done the VR mission (that's where you have 18 minutes to do 10 missions in a row) in my life so I'm keen to try to do that, but we'll see. I might also do another playthrough in Integral, also something I've never done. Fun that there are still things left to do in a game I've owned since day one and have played a LOT of in my life.

Edit: I 100%ed it shortly after I posted this without much trouble, it was one of those things where I just needed a break and came back to do the stuff I'd struggled with the night before without much trouble. I've moved on to A Game About Digging A Hole.

I recently bought AC1 off the PS Store and I have been really enjoying it. I haven't played it since I had a PS3 about 15 years ago. It has been a little difficult getting use to the controls again. I find myself using AC6's control sometimes and the action is much faster than 6. Still fun game. It started to get better as played more and I can still remember how do most of the missions.

Been meaning to post here for a while now, but I beat Spyro 2 on the 14th, and while I still enjoyed it, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did last year. I guess last year was just one of those special playthroughs that was so good that it would be really hard to top. I believe what made it so special was the simple thrill of playing through it for the very first time and the fact that I was not too pleased with Spyro 1 after playing it right before and was ready for something more familiar again, which it provided. I didn't have any of these things on my side this time around, so I guess that was why it wasn't as fun. Eventually, I am planning on playing it again with permanent super flame though since I haven't done it yet and have wanted to do it for a while now, so theirs still some fun left to be had with it. :D

With that out of the way, I started Spyro 3 again on Sunday. Wasn't feeling up to it for a while, but lately I've been in rare form, so I made sure that didn't go to waste. I found that due to my long-time connection to this game and my nostalgic desire to experience it the way I always knew tends to make returning to the game a bit difficult, but I am back again! :) Currently on Bamboo Terrace and advancing fast. I am considering going back and getting all the skill points for this once I beat the game. I already mentioned I was going to replay Spyro 2 with permanent superflame, but I am considering giving Spyro 1 a similar treatment via Gameshark codes since I had fun with it this year. I'll probably mess around with the prototypes of each game too since they have a lot of interesting stuff that never made it to the final.

My desire to play the Spyro series has been pretty strong as of late, and at this point I'm just looking for any reason to keep on playing them since I am really enjoying them. Afterall, my original intent with these playthroughs was to get familiar with them all so I could properly enjoy the remake whenever I decide to play it, and I feel like this is the way to go! :)

Right now, putting in some work in Trackmania Turbo since I hit the credits the MC3 fairly quickly. Turns out it is very possible for me to platinum if I can access the multiplayer trophies. Still a pretty decent game even If I can't.

I already have the rarest non-plat trophy in the game for getting the 50 trackmasters medals, cheesing the White Series. The remaining part of getting all gold medals should be "easy" -- emphasis on the quotation marks. Today was just focusing on getting through Rollercoaster Lagoon and grinding out some of those green things along the way.

Strongest performance so far has been for #107, where I have the state record and in the top 400 globally. The WR run is just otherworldly. Its about a full second faster than my run.

Looks almost mundane until you realize its the twitchiest vehicle in gaming history. It turns way faster than my reactions can handle, and I'm probably going to get nightmares about Lagoon.

This morning I finally beated Great Sage's Broken Shell and completed Black Myth Wukong for the first time!

And here is first part of final battle:

I will be going in NG+ to see how things there.
I want some cool new weapons and armors.
And try to get some trophies I missed, have only 17/36.

So I take it you like Assassin's Creed Shadows?
Loving it, but I also set some time for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle because I lapsed. When the novelty of a game wears off there are times when the plot/gameplay loses momentum, and you just pick something else and that's what happened. Still, I feel that game has saved me trips to Vatican City/Egypt in my lifetime. The depth of detail in both AC Shadows and Indiana Jones is incredible.

A Game About Digging a Hole didn't last long, fun though. Played a bit of Balatro, can definitely see why it's such a big deal, but moved on to Yakuza Kiwami 2 and promptly fell asleep during the opening cinematic, so I'll have to start again when I'm away for work early next week.

Im 70 hours in and probably about 55-60% through the main story only so far. Still enjoying it a lot. Definitely my favorite AC game, but I haven’t played Origins and Odyssey and I know some people put one or both of those on par or above Shadows, so might have to check one of them out at some point. Still, I doubt they will surpass this game just due to the game being built for PS5/XSX and the technology being so much more advanced.

Finished Sniper Elite 5 - authentic difficulty was "easier than expected" once Sniper Elite is played as sneak up and stab them like an Assassin instead.

Atom Fall started, I am not sure what I expect of this game yet with just a few minutes into it.
63 Days started (coop), I suppose this game is short, but it turns out to be a challenge to solve the puzzle of the patroling enemies.

I've been playing Rise of the Ronin and I really enjoy it now that I fixed the choppy framerate. The world is really beautiful and I love the quests directions so far. Even the side quests are interesting. Plus team Ninja gameplay is always interesting, so many weapons and style to master. Really loving it so far.

Midnight mode is so brutal, just platinumed the game and finished Midnight mode to max out my character. Just wanna say don't pay too much attention to the story because it's quite messy but the combat is amazing.
