''What if?''

That was my very first thought. Those cars were bonkers and the tracks even more so. If they found a way to implement an AI crowd of onlookers who would jump out of the way at the last second, that would be epic.

I have to agree that would be something else, Perfect for photomode at the very least, Its just a shame not all Group B cars are in the game :(, Maybe PD don't really like Citroen's :(

What if people stopped making pointless posts in every thread bitching about the release date 💡

If we were going to start bemoaning Group B cars missing from the game, the BX 4TC certainly isn't where I'd start. Although if I were rich I'd sure be tempted to try to re-create one.

But if we're talking Group B 'what if' scenarios, I'd like to have versions of some of the rally prototypes that were scrapped in '86 to match up against the cars we do have. What if Group B hadn't been abandoned for safety reasons.

Exactly!

Agreed.

The game isn't even out and it's already old... *sigh*

Irony!

If we're given the chance to create our own series with specific rules, it could be plenty interesting. Maybe even pick our own competitors, though the full-game's tuning might make that harder to manage. Perhaps if PP ratings make a return we can ask the game to modify cars to a certain cap. Who knows.

If this reflects on how much control we have on private lobbies, even better as far as I'm concerned 👍

I would like to create BPR races from the late 90's. With cars like McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, Lotus Esprit V8, Dodge Vipers, Venturi's, Panoz Esperante's and (dreaming) Porsche 911 993 GT2's and GT1's etc.

My biggest what if would be to pit 1985 to 1999 to 2007 to 2010 l LMP1 cars from the Le Mans 24 hour race. Pitting the oldest and not limited prototypes against current contenders! that would be awesome!!!

"What if" GT5 was released within the next 4-5 weeks?

Actually, I'd like to recreate battles from the original Transformers cartoon. I'd love for the Event Generator to let me do that.

So they finally changed the beginning of GT.... I like the idea but it won't feel the same as hunting through the used car lot's to find a car to start up your franchise of champions with.

GT4 have at least 4 Group B cars, and crazy spectators jumping out of the way in the last second at Grand Canyon track.

(btw the Lancia Delta S4 GpB is one of the best sounding cars in gt4)

It was that way on some other tracks to, Some guy would be leaning out into the road to take a picture and jump back at the last second. I tried to run em over a time or two but no luck :)

btw the Shelby Cobra sounded pretty good with the stock exhaust too.

And the starting grid goes as follows:
Leading off is the Ford GT MKIV, followed by the Ferrari 330 P4.
The Chapparel 2J starts third, by the GT40 MKII.
We have run out of 60's race cars in my current mental capacity and will start the next row with Dale Jr. and Carl Edwards.
Row four is occupied by the Bentley Speed 8, and the Audi R8 Race Car.
Behind them, we have the Benz Patent Motor Wagon, and Daimler Motor Carriage.
The 6th row consists of The Stig on a bicycle and a Fiat 500 towing a yacht.
Row seven holds the Citroen C4 Red Bull Rally Car, and the Ford Focus RS Rally Car.
And to finish it all off, we will end the 16 car grid with the Ferrari F2007 and the Red Bull X1.
The rules of todays race are as follows. The first to achieve 1 mph on the speedo' wins.
Ready, Set, Go!!!!

Create my own racing series with tuned silvias, RX-7s, skylines etc.
With a mixture of drift and track events maybe.

This is one of the best ideas I've heard yet!
