What is missing from GT7 in your opinion?

For me, Gt7 is just missing cars. Too many GR/fantasy cars taking the place of a wide variety of real cars. I get licensing issues and all that but it doesn't ease the disappointment. I could live with the lack of events and current track selections if the put some serious effort into filling out the real car selection with 70's-00's vehicles to say the least, actual notable cars from the last 5 years.

I have 41% of the cars unlocked already, and most of the ones I don't have are just Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars that I will never use. When you go over the car list it's easy to see the lack of diversity, there are 0 station wagons, barely any economy cars (I would love to have a Camry or Ford Explorer or something like that in the game); Not many of the cars stand out, and a lot of the VGTs feel slightly underwhelming or get same-y.

Exactly. gt1& 2, the game was about tracking everyday cars, not just sports cars. 3, was a retool and car count was limited but still a balanced variety and 4 really peaked. 7 is really missing that. Bring cars back like the stagea and axela, legacy and caldina or cars like the Mazda 323 F type R. I'm not looking for the return to the running joke of 50 Miatas or every variant of skyline but there is room to flesh out variety.

Dynamic weather on every track, feels weird that Bathurst or Daytona have no weather when it usually pours during races there at some point.

No rubber banding ********, it's ridiculous they still do this.

More real world tracks and cars, less fake ones.

More events, why do Bathurst, Monza and Interlagos, 3 of the absolute best tracks in the world, only have one event each?

Yeah, I'm not too bothered as haven't played games at all for 10 years until now, but it's a bit odd why it hardly has any newer cars really.

I get they put a lot of effort into them, but you'd think there'd be more current cars in a new game.

Where are the new m cars, audi rs's, newer race cars? You'd think they'd have made the effort more. I expect fm8 will have more current cars later this year.
 
More New Cars like after 2016-2017 because the car list at the moment is kind of old GT Sport like. I want to see:

A proper GHOST sharing. Not every day we have time for online races and I personally loved friends ghosts chasing, beating it and sending back my ghost to my friend. It worked before (I don't mean on GT7 but other games) so I don't get it why we don't have it now.

Cars from : KOENIGSEGG, VOLVO

And more events on existing tracks of course.
 
The love is missing.

They sold their soul to try and manipulate everyone into buying credits. They lied and said that it's because they want the price to reflect the real world value... Lies lies lies. There' s more trophies about spending credits than any other single activity.

Put a fork in this because there is almost nothing that can be added to this game that will change its core focus on spending credits.
 
Hundreds of solo events like GT Sport had. More 2020-2022 current year cars.

But live service games launch unfinished for full price and make you wait months.

Forget just the obvious small details, this game has absolutely no soul or heart whatsoever.

From top to bottom it just feels cobbled together with a 5 min video of car history thrown on top... the single player experience is absolute tedious garbage, & the online is somehow WORSE than GT Sport... All they had to do was copy/paste the same experience from multiplayer & it would be better than what we have currently.

The fact that this game is rated 9/10 & 10/10 by critics is an embarrassment & shows that they're all too ball-less to actually speak their mind & risk losing the privilege of reviewing Sony games. Anyone that gave this game a review with that high of a score is a disgrace & their opinion should not be trusted on anything.

Anyone that has played this game for more than 10 minutes knows it's no better than a 6/10 currently.
 
While I love some more cars its not about that. Its just nothing time worthy to do with most of the cars. You can use most of 600pp-700pp cars but enything other earns you penny's.
 
There's more then enough parts and features to allow any car to be converted to GR4 or GR3.

We could do a race car conversion back in the old days, why not now? The groups already have cars that don't exist, so why limit it?

I should be able to buy pretty much any car and convert it to a GR4 racer or GR3. Throw on a roll cage, splitter, wing, wide fenders and go. There's literally no feature that they need to add to make this happen other than the setting some basic parameters.

I prefer to play alone. Too many sore losers online that will make the race into a destruction derby once they realize they can’t win. All I want is racing AI on the same level as ACC.
 
As others have said, at least 4-6 more tracks. Cars, both road and race, from the last 6-8 years. I want the C8 Z08, G82, 992, 981 S or GTS, 982, AMG One, about a dozen of the old GT300 and GT500 cars, current GT300/500 cars, old and current DTM cars. A racing series to go with both Super GT and DTM. New LMP's. More categories for race cars instead of cramming cars that don't belong together in order to only have 4 classes. We need at least 2-3 more, preferably IRL licensed classes both old and new like GT3/GT4/Super GT/DTM/LMP1/LMP2/LMGTP/Group C...

Also, I want PP calculation to be done correctly. It's always going to be a problem with transmission, LSD, and ballast being part of the calculation so just remove them from the calculation so we can get back to having tuner races for Sport.

Most of all: about 200% more CONTENT! We have IB/IA/S licenses, so I want dozens of races/championships in each one of those categories.

What it NEEDS to be is GT4/5 with modern cars and modern graphics/physics engine. What it never needed to be (but is at current) is GT Sport 1.5.
 
1: Ability to save lobby settings.
2: Able to see if a lobby racing in progress instead of wasting time to enter only to learn that a race is in progress.
3: How about showing lobby finishing times and places for all to see beyond 5 seconds.
4: Being able to click on other lobby racers name in order to text them instead of having to spell out their name individually.
5: How about being able to see the car defaults of other lobby racers.... as in prior games.

From a long time GT racer who is disappointed in GT7

2: Why are Most Cars restricted to one kind of Aspiration? I cant be the only one that wants to Turbo Muscle Cars and Supercharged some 4 bangers and such. Doesn't make any sense, not to mention the cars you can't aspirate at all.
3: It seems the Idea of drag racing was tickled in the Missions but no Setups or Tires for it. Wonder what happened?

As for things like more content or cars, There's a lot i would love to have but i can be patient. In terms of quality and fixing issues GT7 is well ahead any other Racing game right now.

More Gr.2 cars, the class is severely lacking and there's plenty of cars from the old games they could even add if they wanted to take the 'Easy' route.

Atleast 1 other DTM car such as the C-Class DTM which was a direct competitor to go against the Alfa Romeo 155, I hate that it suffers from the same issue as the F1 GTR did in GTS where it had no competitors from it's time period to race against.

The CLK-GTR in any variation i'm sure would be well received.

Yes, It seems DTM is getting less and less love in Racing games. C-Class, A4, Calibra, and the rest of them. Also GT7, Where that Escudo at? that car is a Gran Tursimo Treasure, Give it back lol.
 
The 24h Nürburgring.

Honestly I can't wait for the moment PD decides to flex by adding this event to the game. Spa is fantastic already. Now imagine Spa on a 4x bigger scale with everything they promised in the trailer (dry and wet sections at the same time, full day/night cycle with variable weather and so on).

The only thing that would make it even better is if it was multiclass.

I believe these two things are doable. I have zero music in the game. I think there's a body repair option in the Racing or Extreme tabs in the Tuning Shop to reset the weight to original.
