What is the rarest car in the game?

Today I finaqlly got the Tommy Kaira ZZII `00 I`ve been waiting for it 2 years. Got GT5 for Christmas Evening 2010....So it MUST be the rarest car in the game....And I only saw AI racing it once....RARE it is....But I am very surprized over the price of the Tommy Kaira...It only costed 30.000cr....It must be some mistake...Its a 600pp super sports car with 4wd and adjustable aerodynamics, and very fast...To me it seems like a 750.000cr car...Then add the rarity of it....30.000 must be a mistake...

Hope some of You Guys read this, and comment on these two questions

1...Have any of You waited for two years on some car??? If not, the Tommy Kaira ZZII `00 IS the most rare of them all - Right?? (p3bucky claims to have waited "1.500 days"
for Sauber Merc and GT-R concept rc, but its impossible)

2...What do You think of the ridicilous price 30.000cr???

lol....Very strange this thing....The Chaparral 2J is not rare to me...I`ve had mine for 1 1/2 year, and saw it numerous times for sale in OCD...So all this talking of rare cars is stupid after all...What did You pay for Tomyy Kaira ZZII...? Hope You recall the price....

Audi R8 LMS. Only seen it once over the past 5 months.

In fact, I may just head on over to the traders forum and try to pry some Audis away.

I think I understand your confusion.

Try to think of it this way -- GT5 may be a driving simulation but it's also a video game. What race car driver could possibly complete a 5-race championship (on circuits located across the country) in less than 2 hours?

Also, what would GT5 be like if we could only enter one event per day? (Honestly that would be a more realistic simulation, but also pretty ridiculously hardcore for a video game.) Imagine you are in GT5 mode and denied race entry because your previous race ended 5 minutes ago... so your team is too busy celebrating your victory, then when you are all done partying they need a few days to pack up the car(s) and equipment and haul it to the next circuit *before* you are allowed to enter the next race.

I don't suppose many GT5 players party with their friends after every race win, so the game lets you enter the next event right away, if that's what you wish.

EDIT: this post is not meant to thread-jack, just be helpful with someone's confusion.

The price of the Tommy Kaira is obviously a bug. The car costs 500.000 cr in GT4 and 50.000 cr or around that in GT5, they probably forgot to add a 0.

Yeah I know but I foolishly gave it away to my friend and still regreting the day that I did :(

And I will gladly swap any other car for it if anyone has a spare one they don't want :)

I'd say the standard Mazda 787B or the standard Ferrari Enzo. Never seen either one with the 1300+ in-game days I've spent into it.

According to the official car list there is. There has to be, because you can transfer cars from the PSP game to GT5. The Enzo is in the PSP game, and all cars in that game are standard. Therefor, it is in GT5...somewhere. >_>
Unless it transfers as a Premium. I wouldn't know because I never tried it. I own every car in the game on PSP version. lol

Wait a second ... there is a standard Enzo, but you can't buy it in the UCD/OCD. You can only get one if you transfer the Enzo from your PSP to the PS3. Plus, you can only use it in Arcade mode.

BTW, all cars transferred from the PSP are standard :(
 
Transfered PSP cars are only available in Arcade Mode; they don't exist in the regular Career Mode. Not only are they not available to buy, they don't show up as opponents in any races. The only exceptions to this are the few cars PD have released in the OCD which are Standard, despite the Premium versions already existing. The Lotuses recently, for example.

So yes, they're in the game, but not really. At any rate, they definitely won't show up in the UCD.
 
I had a lexus (as I know it in the states is called an IS300) IS200 race car or something pop up a couple weeks ago. I have never seen it before, ever. I like the body style of the car so I purchased it. Thats the rarest car for me. Along with the Falcon XR8, which I am ok with being rare since I have vowed to not drive a ford in this game and so far haven't broken it.
