What is the rarest car in the game?

I had a lexus (as I know it in the states is called an IS300) IS200 race car or something pop up a couple weeks ago. I have never seen it before, ever. I like the body style of the car so I purchased it. Thats the rarest car for me. Along with the Falcon XR8, which I am ok with being rare since I have vowed to not drive a ford in this game and so far haven't broken it.

For me the Sauber Mercedes C9 and the Bentley Speed 8 were the rarest cars, just got them yesterday.

I will have to say that the rarest car for me is the Audi R8 LM '01 in red.

I have seen it three times in yellow, and none in red.

It would've been a level 12 ticket, and it's the only way possible to get that car in the game. It's a GT Academy car so was only given out as a prize in the GT Academy event at some point. Don't know how it managed to make its way into a level ticket though.

Rarest car IMO, would definitely have to be the Chaparral 2J. I can never get that car. But when it does show up in the UCD, I'm $3 million short or maybe more. It's rediculous. I NEED that car. Not for collecting, but for driving.

I know these cars get sought after so much, and many people think because they can't afford them when they show up in the UCD or don't show up for ages they think that they're rare, but they're not.

The easiest way to get them is to get 1967 and 1970 birthday tickets. Using the part of the duping method found on this site somewhere (use the search) you can reload the ticket until you get the car you're after. Saves you earning enough, then having to wait for it only to find another car that you're after and spending the cash on that, for it to appear straight after and not having enough, lol.

Also make use of this website http://gt5cars.net/used_car_searches/new it will save you a lot of trouble in the future. Again all this information can be found using the search function, so really these cars are not rare, just highly sought after and expensive, which is not the same.

It may not be this way for everyone, but supposedly the '02 Ford GT is the rarest of all, meaning it shows up in the UCD more rarely than any other car. I have the '02 GT though.

I think it is. I got a red one as a prize I think, but I saw a yellow Z ACT in the UCD.

I don't think there are real rare cars anymore.
PD is making rare cars too easy to get (OCD, GT academy, seasonal prizes etc)

Before the trade limit people duplicated all hard-to-get and expensive cars like idiots...
Therefore I don't think there are any really rare cars; not even the 370Z Tuned (which was the rarest of them all imo > you could not buy or win this car, you just had to be lucky with a lvl12 ticket)

The X2010 isn't rare if you're level 40. You can make 8 mill a pop with the ferrari f1 challange, so in 30 minutes you got yourself one.
