What is the rarest car in the game?

I could never really understand why somebody would pay that much more money for basically nothing. Sure it is nice to have some cars extra, but is it really worth the extra cash?

What I would have liked though are cars that are not for sale in the game, I would have maybe paid for those.

Anyways, the 787b is a great car, stealth or no stealth. 👍

Mazda 787B '91 - 690hp (dealer); 930kg
Mazda 787B Stealth - 838hp (verified); 830kg

Just FYI.

Nice to own a car that I know not eveyone can get for nothing, unlike almost every other car in the game..

EDIT - Can't tell you how much I love that picture!

I wouldn't say the extra money was for basically nothing. You get a nice leather Gran Turismo wallet, a nice photo book, a keychain, a special game case, a GT USB stick, all the stealth and chromeline cars, the Mercedes SLS diecast, and an Apex book, which is all packaged in a nice GT branded tin.

I got one of these and also the McLaren F1 for pre-ordering the collectors edition from Amazon. They didn't automatically send me the codes like they where supposed to though, I had to chase them. Both cars are great!

The most rare cars in GT5 are most of the 800 odd Standard ones that haven't shown up in the Used or Rare dealerships yet!

How is the stealth 787b 100kg lighter? Seems very odd to me. More power, yes. Over 10% lighter than the normal car? Erm, no - don't think that's possible, unless it's THAT stealthy that it draws ALL of it's 838bhp from the Sun.

Do not criticize the black 787B! :grumpy:

I got the car and make it earn me money in B-Spec, In a way I suppose thats cheating but that Signature edition cost me heaps so it's good to be given a car to grind with!

The Nissan R89C has NEVER shown up in UCDC for me... and where's the Model T Ford?

It's almost completely made of carbon fiber, doesn't have those rim-covers and probably saved a kilogram or so by not having any paint.

The 787B Stealth is godly fast. I've got it to with my Signature edition. It corners so good.
It's my favorite car in the game and i've done around 4000 km with it. But I prefer not to use it because the races then get very easy. Only use it when i'm stuck at a level so I can finish the old races quickly.

Me too, from Amazon UK, they emailed the codes to me before I had the game in my hands though! It is an awesome car and has the best start up and idle sound ever. I used it quite a lot about midway through my progress I must admit, stuff like the Dream Car Championship. I will probably do them again with a more "equal" car :)

When I have enough money to burn i'm going to buy the stock 787B and see if it is possible to mirror the tunings of the Stealth version, though I guess if you can't reduce the weight at all, that's out of the question...

And what do you need to do to get stealth 787B? Pay more money. That is really awesome. I think that anyone who invest his time into cheating the normal 787B do more for geting the car.

Btw: Sauber is better one.

The sauber is debateable, however no other other car sound's as good as the r26b quad rotor on start up or on full sing ;)

Well that is not true because once they show up "anyone" can get them and they will be duped and spread to the masses, as this car will always be limited.

Just to be clear - I checked my garage, the 787B is 830kg. Therefore, the stealth model has more horsepower but is the SAME weight.

The Stealth 787B probably just has the high-range Turbo fitted by default. I do not have the stealth car, but do own the Dealership version - which has not been altered at all (yet)

In my opinion, the only true "rare" car in GT5 is the Nissan 370Z GT Academy since the only way to get one is by a Level 12 (random) ticket. Any other car can be won or bought.

So the stealth model is totally not worth it.

If this car cannot be gifted then I think you may be right, but millions of people have the game that can generate that car, as to where the 787B Stealth is only available as limited DLC. Hopefully the 370z can't be gifted, if it can be gifted then it can be duped.

GT Motion
The Stealth Mazda 787B.

With all the car duping pretty much everything can now be duped and gifted, making nothing rare, except this, which cannot be gifted, and is most "limited" of all the Stealth cars, Japan did not even get this car with their Stealth pack...:)

So its the only one then nowdays! :nervous:

Sadly in can be gifted. It's rare in a sense of acquiring it, not owning it. Anyone with money to spare can buy an EU copy of the game and get the 787B with the code though. So nothing is rare really.

There are a limited amount of codes, that's the thing, so once they are gone they are gone. Every other car is unlimited and "anyone" can get it.
