What is the rarest car in the game?

There are a limited amount of codes, that's the thing, so once they are gone they are gone. Every other car is unlimited and "anyone" can get it.

You forgot about "game-sharing". It's frowned upon but people still doing it.

Even then it's limited...just not quite as limited. Each DLC code can be redeemed onto five systems using the one account it was used on. (corretc me if I'm wrong)

So let's say there are 200k 787V Stealth codes in circulation, if everyone shares it to four other people, it's still limited.

Nissan 370Z Tuned

You can only get it via the gift car coupons(unless I'm missing something).

Some people will do this, but not everyone is just willing to hand out their login information.

Well, the SLS AMG is just as rare. Don't know why you pick out the Mazda. All Stealth cars are as rare

Because Japan also received Stealth cars, however they only received five, the 787B was the sixth one that only Europe received. Therefore making it the most rare of all the Stealth cars.

I see, I am European, hence my perspective

Yes I'd agree its one of the rarest. Not in Premium Car Dealerships, not given as a standard prize car. i was lucky enough to win it after winning the Pro Series - was given a Level 12 ticket which redeemed to this.
Causes a small riot whenever I take it online. 👍

That car is hot, as long as it stays away from being a highly duped car it will probably be just as rare if not more rare than the 787B Stealth, if it starts getting duped then it will probably become like the X1 :(

There's an 'official 370Z GT Academy' duping thread in the marketplace, sorry to alert you. :/

LOL So its back to the 787B then, since it can't be duped. Followed by the other DLC cars.

The '00 Corvette C5R doesn't come up too often in the used car lot.

Unfortunately, dupers have ruined the rarity of cars, so that car, just like all the other cars, will soon be duped and gifted online so everyone will have one. It is sad indeed that no longer will people be able to bring cool cars online and make people go "ahhh ohhh wow", now all the cars that used to do that, are a dime a dozen. Thanks dupers! :)

I have a code for one of these that I've still not got round to using (pre-ordered from Amazon).

If you don't sell or trade it, you should definitely redeem it, it is a riot to bring online. I was in a lobby and came to a complete stop on the side of the track and cars went flying by then ebraking to spin around and started looking. I had a Japanese guy stalk me for a few hours trying to get me to give it to him haha

Today was the first time I've spotted a Sauber Merc. C9 Race Car, I bought it right away. I'm still waiting for a NOMAD to show up. I also wish there was a way to get 787b Stealth in NA.

I'm gonna stay true to the game and attempt to get every car the old fashion way. :D

Is the nissan gran turismo GTR pace car rare?

its the gran turismo gtr and its the pace car version with those "cop car" lights on top of it.

I am sure it is rare to get initially, but unfortunately once a few dupers have it, it will be everywhere.
:indiff:

Someone should just change this thread's title to "Rarest Car in GT5's UCD"

then nobody will ever bring up the DLC cars.
No point bringing up DLC cars as DLC cars are meant to be exclusive in the first place.

What I (and I think most of the other GT5 players here) would like to know is, what car(s) are the rarest in the UCD.

And by rare I mean, these cars only show up like once every 200 UCD refreshes or something like that....

Here are some cars that I can remember which are pretty rare:

  1. WEDSSPORT CELICA '03
  2. SUBARU IMPREZA 22B
  3. OUILIM SPIRRA
  4. ZONDA C12
  5. HYUNDAI TURBULENCE
  6. SUPRA RZ

Some cars i am still yet to see in my used dealer...

C4 Zr-1(Corvette of course)
Mercedes CLK GTR Race Car
Spoon Civic hatch (Ek)
.

The original Skyline is quite rare. Sells for $225,000 in the UCD. The description says there were only 60 ever made. I looks similar to the Mercedes 300.

Sorry to say but none of the Stealth cars are rare at all. Local friend of mine wanted to get the codes, so he simply called the technical support line, told them his code that he received in his game (never was a code, he bought the regular version) hadn't worked for some reason, they gave him a code over the phone no questions asked... In addition to this exploit you can buy them on eBay if you really really want them that badly.
