What is the rarest car in the game?

The rarest car I've seen is the 2002 Ford GT (yellow w/ black stripes). Just under a million credits.
I've seen it once in well over 1000 "days".
I've seen every other car in this thread multiple times.

I bought one today from my UCD. I had to sell like 10 cars to get the 1M for it though as I only had 600k at couldn't do any races otherwise it would go. This is one car I am not going to trade, even by duping. I want it to remain rare for as long as possible.

the Chevrolet - Corvette C5-R (C5) '00 is the rarest one i've noticed so far

I agree. It only appears once, yes once, in the thousands of UCD days you've compiled. Amazingly rare.

actually a bunch of people have worked on it. i am just one of the contributors. it's a useful tool if you can find where your at in the list

There's no such thing as a "rare" car, the cars that you get in the UCD are random, so basically what can be rare for one person can be common for another, all depends on what you get.

there is strong evidence to suggest that is not random but rather a master list of predetermined cars. where you start in the list is random based on something in your ps3

Rarest of the rarest?

I would say Ford GT '02 and Chapparal 2D.
The next are probably 22B, PAO, Viper convertable,2000 GT, gold colour celica (didn't remember which model but it's not gold though, greeninsh something that look like gold), S500.
As far as i know. Most of the rarest car are not race car.
Many of them are classic or cars from GT4. lol.

If you check the UCD every possible day (except for the two days you miss due to the 6-race FGT Championship, A-Spec and B-Spec) and only see a car once in over 1000 days, it is rare.

The GT Academy has to be rarer because it can only be one once for completing S-License Golds.

it's considered a premium i think so it wouldn't be in the ucd

Didn't see this was only dealing with the UCD. The rarest car I've come across there would be a Pagani, as I've only seen one of them in there.

Two accounts. Won Gold on both S-Licenses in both accounts, yet the 370Z, which is a random lvl 12 car, did not appear for me even once until I traded for it.

There is no all black FGT in GT5 I'm afraid, nor is there any McLaren F1 in the UCD under its own brand (the only one is the BMW McLaren).

For me it is a little different. I actually own many of these "rare" cars already. I also have GT on my PSP, and have collected a lot of these cars. I even transferred some of them to my Portable Garage in GT5. What sucks though is I can't use them outside of Arcade Mode.

It's not really about cars anymore, not with the duping anyways. It seems to be specific colors of cars that are now the rares.

Seen a fair amount of them XR8, i would say the Ford GT '02 ive one coming tonight and been after it for weeks, not seen 1 at all in UCD but finally got a trade tonight.
