So much about this song is bad. From the out of tune "ding" at the beginning to the pronunciation of "Water slide" as "weuder-schleid". Also, Hayley Williams is not a good singer in the first place.

HOW CAN YOU SAY SUCH A THING.

But seriously though, that song is awful. What happened?

Last Christmas - the only song so bad GTP has an annual contest centered around avoiding it. I'm not posting a video because I don't want to Wham! myself.

One of my coworkers loves that song and Wham! in general, but then he also thinks Justin Beiber has talent.

I'm 100% sure the worst music ever is reggaeton (''Music'' that consists in a very bad rhythm and men shouting they want to have sex with a girl, awful). I don't know why some people here in Spain likes it.

I just realised there are dial tone noises in that. Dear god it's noisy. But I think #TWERKIT gets the award for worst sound (not really a song is it?) ever.

Might want to add NSFW to that. It ties with #TWERKIT for worst noise.

Woah... WTF happened to linken park? I haven't listened to them in years, they were decent then.

I wak into the club looking at saxy gawlllls

The girl in the second video is hot though...

Holy crap, autotune in "metal"?! Those idiots are going to get killed. *facepalm* Brokencydde (don't care if I make a typo spelling their name) sucks eggs, too. Thank God this whole "scene" trend hasn't made its way into the mainstream.

I'm not sure about this. I mean, this song is good for a laugh, but in terms of music quality it could very well be one of the worst.

Hm, I actually like that song. It's a bit sour on the highest notes, but apart from that it's quite powerful. And it's a live performance, very few live performances are perfect, especially when they are as demanding as this song is.

The studio production is a lot better:

It's just as painful though.
Ylvis performed The Fox on BBC Children in Need (really well), and they hit the high notes quite well, without it hurting. Suus has always been bad.

Whatever wins X-Factor this year...
You know, the X-Factor isn't all bad y'know. I have liked some of the winning songs (Shayne Ward - That's my Goal, James Arthur - Impossible), plus it does churn out popstars that can sing well live. Lots of times popstars go on stage and sound a bit naff, but at least talent shows find people who can do well on stage.

It's not my cup of tea. I know it's a common phrase to use but it all really sounds the same to me, however I don't believe it's the fault of the performers. I admit a few have genuine talent but the problems arise when Simon Cowell gets his grubby corporate money making claws on them and drags out any creativity they may have previously had and turns them into another form of income.
