St.Anger?

This truly made me laugh out loud, but St. Anger is gold award winning stuff compared to that one with Lou Reed... I can't even remember the name of it I hated it so bad.

Cheers

Here are two particularly dreadful affairs i've come across. NSFW.

And this monstrosity, which is about driving a German Whip:

First off, we already have a decent dance remix of this track from the Audio Bully's in about 2005, which is still a good remix and pulls it's weight nowadays. This half-arsed version with some woman who can't sing the song plus some EDM bits that don't suit the song make it all in all a waste of time.

I thought it was Audio Bully's when I first heard it come on, and then it just went downhill. He didn't even bother making the Skylar Grey bit different, just stuck some generic EDM onto it. As you said, really half-arsed :yuck:

Any pop(ular) music that was made by overrated musicians since 2000 is purely awful. That include Brittney Spears, Beiber, Miley, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, those F:censored:n members of One Direction.

It might have been a half decent EDM song, but the horrible American accent used combined with what is actually being said

@Jimlaad43 Check the last page... definitely a bad one. Grimmy and the whole breakfast team were mocking it last week

Did you hear the #SELFIE/Gentlemen/Loca People mashup they did?

I personally think #SELFIE offers an interesting social commentary

Apart from that it's a 🤬 song.

Also what subgenre is it? Is it trap? What is trap?

It's EDM with some annoying talking.
Trap is something that branched off from hip hop. They include lyrics about "being in the trap", and other similar tat.

I thought trap was a subgenre of EDM?

I literally am getting all my EDM knowledge from Ghetto Raver on Twitter who isn't exactly the best source.

Also what genre is Animals? And LRAD. You know, big build-up, minimal droppage.

They are general EDM/techno songs, and the minimal drops come from something called "microhouse". Very clicky/8 bitty.

I see 👍
Just to point out, LRAD technically has no drop because it's big room house. There's emphasis on the beat, and that's it.

Basically, big room house is like house/EDM, except it doesn't focus on a drop. To many people it sounds like a crap or weak drop, but it's basically because it's not meant to be a mad EDM drop.

Drum & bass is all the same, so much easier to understand, no wonder I like it so much.

But what about Pendulum and their DnB fusions that I love so much? :p

So can the Qemists come under the Pendulum genre then? :p

Maybe take this to my profile page, don't want to derail further.

No, this is hardly getting derailed...

Oh gawd I don't know what to think anymore

I'm so glad Rob moved on from that

Anything where the lyrics don't make sense.

(Warning, features vulgar language and nonsense. Symptoms may include mild to severe headache and confusion.)
