First off, we already have a decent dance remix of this track from the Audio Bully's in about 2005, which is still a good remix and pulls it's weight nowadays. This half-arsed version with some woman who can't sing the song plus some EDM bits that don't suit the song make it all in all a waste of time.

I thought it was Audio Bully's when I first heard it come on, and then it just went downhill. He didn't even bother making the Skylar Grey bit different, just stuck some generic EDM onto it. As you said, really half-arsed

Trap is something that branched off from hip hop. They include lyrics about "being in the trap", and other similar tat.

They are general EDM/techno songs, and the minimal drops come from something called "microhouse". Very clicky/8 bitty.

Just to point out, LRAD technically has no drop because it's big room house. There's emphasis on the beat, and that's it.

Basically, big room house is like house/EDM, except it doesn't focus on a drop. To many people it sounds like a crap or weak drop, but it's basically because it's not meant to be a mad EDM drop.
