What is the worst TV show you have ever seen?

Toddlers & Tiaras

Mother loves it, so I've been privy to a few episodes. I have a serious problem with it. It's cruel. 21st century chimney sweeping.

It might not be the worst show, but it's probably the dumbest right now: "Scorpion".

In essence, it's about four generic crime fighters - a mechanic who is a tomboy, a math prodigy who is an overweight nerd, a psychiatrist whose character development is limited to "wears a funky hat", and a self-proclaimed genius. These four NCIS rejects - none of whom are in any way original - are billed as experts in their fields at the age of twenty-two, are routinely outsmarted by others of average intellect until the final ad break, at which point they finally remember that they're smart and contrive a solution that the audience thought of forty-five minutes ago.

Watched the first episode last night and felt compelled to dig out this thread and post about it. Looks like someone beat me to it

Only seen the one episode and was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt ...right until the 458/airliner/Cat5 scene with the longest runway on the planet...

Another horrible one - an Australian show called "Bangkok Embassy". It's about the inner workings of an embassy in Thailand and the staff who have to deal with the poor and innocent Australians who are preyed upon by unscrupulous locals; they, in turn, exist purely to be a cruel, money-grabbing and cynical race of sub-humans who exist solely to rip off Australian tourists.

Basically, the show amounts to "we're all good and foreigners are all evil".

The worst show i have ever watched would have to be 'Today tonight' it got canned a few years ago after soo many inconsistencies in their stories where they would basically tell massive lies to make it sound dramatic.

Notable mentions:

-Last 3 seasons of How I Met your mother

-Big bang theory after season 5

-Last episode of Entourage definitely takes the cake for worst last episode even beating Seinfeld tbh.

on a side note: How can anyone hate 2 Broke girls, the premise of the show sounds like it will be a **** show but actually watching it proves it's one of the best comedies on right now(Max's improv jokes are hilarious).

Throwing "Dog With a Blog" out there. Even compared to Disneys other crappy-sitcoms, this one is unrealistic and stupid.

.........People are still watching TV?? I'm stumped. Haven't seen anything good/bad/moderately interesting in ages. I even catch the darn News on the net. BBC, CNN.....
Heh. :D
Okay so I do dig in for Monday Night Raw and a PPV on Sundays plus a bit of various sports but that's it.

Top Five (not in any order)
Amish Mafia
Rachel Madow's Show (I don't care what it's called it's garbage along with everything else on that channel)
Keeping up with the Kardashians
16 and Pregnant
Top Gear USA

Breadwinners. One of my cousins was watching that and I cringed.

Worst cartoon on Nickelodeon yet.

I can't really say what truly is the worst show I watched because I don't watch TV that much anymore but I do know that Jersey Shore sucked big time.

I didn't like Jersey Shore either, I just thought that show was stupid overall. I only watched one episode due to a friend that kept asking me to watch it and I did it. After that, I never watched the show ever again.

"Auction Hunters"

Two morons try to convince us all that buying abandoned storage units at auction is a viable career path. The first half of each episode tries to artificially generate tension in the world of competitive auctioneering. The second half has the morons "stumble upon" rare and valuable antiques that have clearly been planted for them to find.

Another one that is terrible: "Man and Machine", which features a guy travelling the country to drive rare and famous cars.

Allow me to explain why this is so bad. I cannot stand travel shows, where the presenters go to holiday destinations and show us what we can find there. But why do I want to watch someone else go on holiday and have fun? I'm the one who wants to go. And if I go to that destination that the presenter went to, the experience isn't going to be great because I have already seen it on television.

"Man and Machine" is horrible for the same reasons. It's not about the cars, it's about the guy driving them. It's wish fulfilment - he has clearly got a list of all the cars he wants to drive, and has made a television show about driving them in order to justify doing it. The show isn't about the viewer's experience, but the presenter's.

Here comes a new challenger - "Winter Wipeout", or, as I like to think of it, "Richard Hammond Uses All Of The Terrible, Forced One-Liners That He Can't Use On 'Top Gear'!"

Mud Lovin Rednecks..... the title really says it all.

They really need to stop doing these stupid reality shows about some guys.... who do some things....

"I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!"

C-list celebrities are shipped off to a far-flung locale (in this case, Africa) and forced to live with only the barest of necessities for six weeks. If it all becomes too much, they can shout the show's title and be removed from the set.

It's fairly average reality television fare. But what makes it so terrible is that the celebrities have to compete in a variety of challenges to win food. And the producers like to put them through the most disgusting things imaginable - getting covered in offal, eating live insects, or diving in a tank full of fish guts or elephant droppings.

All of which gets broadcast at 7:00pm. Or, as you might know it, dinner time.

Yeah i found it cringeworthy, and the hosts are trying way too hard.

I was wondering if there was an Australian version of "I'm A Celebrity", and where they sent unlucky C-listers to.

Any of the reality shows that have to do with Alaska and redneck stereotypes. Just watching the promos is enough to make me cringe. :yuck:

Party Down South & Party Down South 2. Basically redneck versions of Jersey Shore. I watch them, only as they are something to fall asleep to on Thursday nights.

PDS1 isn't great, but the cast is pretty funny.

PDS2 is worse, but at the same time it is hilarious. The cast is all supposed to be 20 somethings but there is so much Jr High style drama on there.

They also all claim to be hard core partiers & drinkers, but half of them seem to be throwing up/passing out before they get to the bar.

Breadwinners

I was looking at the TV Guide and I saw it was 10 minutes left of that show before Spongebob.

Worst 10 minutes of TV. Ever.

Thankfully, it was kind of worth, because they shown The Secret Box and Band Geeks.

I dunno, only stuff I watch is stuff I like. Breaking Bad is up there. It is so slow paced and it is just a pain to watch

The Walking Dead.

/sarcasm

Seriously, Breadwinners. It pains me that children have to watch such drivel. It should be cancelled. It's terrible.

It would probably be Geordie Shore and the Kardashians for me. I have nothing against Geordies though as the beautiful Cheryl Cole is Geordie.
