After I finally learned how to wheelie (just never took the time), I managed to run some for speed... ran up to 700-800 with several cars including my hybrid vertigo thats running a fully maxed oreca engine.

Top speed runs dont really have any appeal for me, I like racing rather than top speed runs. Especially when its a good race compared to a crazy unrealistic top speed run in the escudo.

Btw, you know... I think all of us have broken the sound barrier... so do you think they will put sonic booms in gt4?

I would like to take this into a more "GT" context and look at the speed my cars race on a track besides the test track...

Right now my oreca viper is the fastest, but every week or so my fastest car is a new one based on the races Im running. A few weeks back it was a Z, recently it went to the viper concept, then to the oreca.

Overall fastest in my book would be the gt-one fully moded. Fastest stock: 787b.

So what is the fastest around a track for you guys, or is everyone still interested in astranomical speeds like a million?

Corvette= 300mph? No wy..my Escudo only goes 331mph..2nd fastest is GT-one Race 280 mph no way vette can do that.

hahaha Its easily possible if you break through the wall. WHICH I CANT!!! Is it possible in the Pal version? Because I hit it at like 340 km/h which is over 200 mph and I did it in the same fasion as in the video of the guy doing it and It didnt work.

I can't break through either, I'm pretty sure it is possible in the PAL version.

Then My Supra RZ is fater than your Speed 12. My supra can do 263mph. I got the right setting to do it, and it ain't no Hybrid.

I actually got past 1000 mph in my GT-1 race car by tuning the transmission and made it do a wheelie by changing the downforce
