I can speak English and Malay fluently. :) I can also speak a bit of Japanese and Chinese, but that doesn't really matter.... :indiff: But of course, I could type in almost any language with babelfish.....

English
Bad English
German
and to a degree and I speak some Dutch (Flemish), but understand it to a higher degree.

Wish I could speak Russian.

Australian and Pig Latin for me. Plus I can count to ten in Japanese, French and German. I did learn French at school but have pretty much forgotten it all.

English and Bad English.

I did take three years of Spanish, so I can generally follow along most conversations unless they're talking very quickly, but I can't join in. I also took a year of Russian, but I didn't retain much of it. I still decipher Cyrillic with only a small effort, though.

I can speak English and Malay fluently, and very basic Tamil.

I can swear in Cantonese, Hokkien (chinese dialects), Dhivehi, Indonesian & Bruneian malay though. :dopey:

I speak English but I kinda want to learn a Slavic language, I have family in Slovenia so it would be cool to learn Slovenian or Russian. Also, do the poll stats seem a little off to anyone else?

I'm fluent in English/American/Slang/Galactic Basic.

But, technically, the poll asks which ones I can speak, so I went on to also choose Spanish, Italian, Japanese, French, and German. My Espanish is decent, Italian is poor, Japanese is just phrases, and the French and German are short phrases to mere exclamations. Sacré bleu!

Not exactly necessary, but I couldn't help myself...

English fluently.
German and French I could just about get by on.
Spanish and Dutch, I know the odd phrase here or there.

I speak English, obviously. I was going to select Japanese too, but I've forgotten almost everything I learnt in the 11 years the language was taught to me.

I'm Australian, so naturally I speak English. But I am trying to teach myself Japanese for I want to move over there for some part of my life one day and there are good opportunities for lawyers to work abroad who are able to speak Eastern languages. But it is very hard without real classes to learn in and not being around anyone who can speak it.

Portuguese, English, Spanish, some French and some Italian (latin-based languages tend to be easier for those who already speak one).
