I went by localish record store on Saturday and picked up a few LP's as well as a couple of CD's:

Death - Individual Thought Patterns (CD)
Antischism - All Their Money Stinks of Death (7" 45)
Amorphis - The Karelian Isthmus (12" LP)
Sunn O))) ØØ Void (12" LP)

There were two more, but I don't think I can post their names on here.

Excellent stuff. I'm fairly sure you can count Sunn O))) fans on this forum with one hand. :)

Anyways, I've bought two albums off of iTunes in the last week (something I hate doing, but they are digital only)
Yesterday's Children - Yesterday's Children
Yesterday-s_Children-1969-Yesterday-s_Children.jpg

Great garage psych rock band from the mid 60's, only got one album in but boy was it a goody.

Greenleaf - Nest of Vipers

Another great album that has contributed to an already epic year of new music. Sadly this is digital only, because I really dig that artwork. If they ever release hard copies of this I'll gladly spend another $11 for it.

Digital stuff sucks.

Target had a couple of worthwhile CD's in their $5 section.

Beastie Boys - License to Ill

Van Halen - Van Halen

Also got this.
Black Sabbath - Mob Rules [Deluxe Edition]
I usually don't go for deluxe editions as they are normally a waste of cash, but disc 2 is Live at Hammersmith Odeon which was a limited edition CD that I can't get any other way(There was only 5,000 copies and the cheapest on Ebay is $40).

Recently bought both of these newly released albums

And I must say, two of the best albums I have bought for a very long time. 👍

I bought these a few weeks ago in preparation for a concert in a few weeks. I was asked to go to the concert to see the opening act.

The opening act is The Arctic Monkeys. Even though I bought all three of the above, I have yet to listen to any of them.

I cashed in some change so I went on a bit of a CD spree on Amazon.

Deep Purple - Shades of Deep Purple (1968)

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory (1970)

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On (1971)

Rush - 2112 (1976)
220px-Rush_2112.jpg

Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak (1976)

AC/DC - Highway to Hell (1979)

Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast (1982)
220px-Iron_Maiden_-_The_Number_Of_The_Beast.jpg

Pantera - Cowboys from Hell (1990)
220px-CowboysFromHell.jpg

Megadeth - Youthanasia (1994)

Rage Against the Machine
- Battle of Los Angeles (1999)

Audioslave - Audioslave (2002)

Heaven & Hell
- The Devil You Know (2007)
220px-Thedevilyouknow-Large_%28Actual_Art_Work%29.jpg

And a couple of 1 cent CD's from Ebay, not the greatest but for a penny there is probably something worthwhile on them.

Anthrax - I'm the Man (1987)
220px-AnthraxI%27mTheMan.jpg

Limp Bizkit - Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ (1997) (Again, it was a penny)

Just got this in the mail, I couldn't find it in CD form anywhere in the US so I ordered it from Finland. Since I now know it's a legit site I plan on ordering the rest of their CD's from there when I have the cash.

Sparzanza - Banisher of the Light

Just looked them up, they sound great :) Theyre on iTunes so might purchase from there!

Only music that I ever bought (well... parents bought, was 5-6) was an Alice in Chains Greatest Hits album. Thought that I lost it several years ago but finally found it last week, they moved it. But now I have it and it is awesome!

As well as Apocalyptic Love as I've mentioned in a few threads now:

Muse - Resistance
Between the Buried and Me - Colors
30 Seconds to Mars - This is War
DragonForce - Inhuman Rampage

I download most of my music (I actually pay for it too), but occasionally buy CDs to play in my car.
The last few I bought were:

Snow Patrol - Fallen Empires
Iron Maiden - Best of the Beast
Ministry Of Sound - 20 Years

Guns 'N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Bon Jovi - Greatest Hits
Rush - Moving Pictures
Poison - Open Up and Say... Aah!

Combined Expenditure: $2.50 :)

'Magazine' - 'Secondhand Daylight'
'The Sex Pistols' - (Oh dear. It seems I can't post the name of this album without being killed by mods.) :grumpy:
