Since Ferrari doesn't seem to have FIA GT4 worthy car in their lineup (without resorting to detuning something else) I've had an idea for the F355 Challenge as their Gr.4 car.

Power/weight rating is 380 HP, 1355 kg (2987 lbs) according to Ferrari's website, which makes it a perfect fit.
 
The new Mustang GT350 based GT4 should be great sounding.
KTM X-BOW GT4 for people who want a prototype style car.
Apparently there's a Panoz Avezzano GT4 car.

C8 and Ford GT GT3s are a must, along with the new Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari cars. Adding real-world cars like the Bentley GT3 should've taken precedence over a fake Mazda but Polyphony is always going to be Japan-centric.

And of course move the FWD GT4s to a Touring class, add more Volvos and whatnot to it, and make GT4 RWD only; they're impossible to BoP with the RWD cars to create interesting racing at most circuits and the AWD cars just understeer.

Not going to happen though unless they make Manufacturer's Series a Gr.3-only affair.

How so? The TT could be made RWD since it's based off an AWD car anyway, Golf R same thing, the RCZ is MR in Gr.3 and for some ridiculous reason the Megane Trophy tube frame abomination exists.

Megane Trophy has, somehow, a (limited) GT4 homologation (IIRC it was for Belgian GT series). As for the rest, that would defeat the idea of Gr.4 being a production-oriented class (although that might also reflect on the Megane Trophy).

I think you're mistaken about the Megane Trophy, no Renaults have ever competed in GT4, it was simply a one make Renault Sport championship. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GT4_European_Series

Racing Sports Cars didn't find Rafael using the Megane Trophy in IGTO GT Lights, but I did find this instead (Euro Series by Nova). There, the Megane Trophy raced against a Ginetta G55/G50 and BMW M4 GT4.

Along with the Aus. Mustang and Holden Opel COmmodore Insignia? And the old ALtima and Erebus c63?

I think these cars are all 'out of class' like the DTM cars in both V8 and turbo four form.

I do like the Megane V6 but it looks so ridiculous with its zero ground clearance next to everyone else who is basically N24 spec. It almost looks like a baby LMP.
 
I would expect many of the latest GTE/GT3 cars in GT7. A number have already been scanned.

But there really needs to be consideration for a Classic Gr.3 class. Or a filter for production/race year. Cars like the short-tail F1 GTR, while pace wise, a good fit for Gr.3. They’re clearly out of place in a field of current GTE/GT3’s.
 
Don't know if PD will separate the FF & AWD GR.4 cars. Those need to be updated as well. Not a wish list. I'd prefer all real GT3 & GT4 cars.

No new Mitsubishis. The Lancer may have to soldier on.

NSX looks to remain in GR.3/GT3.
Maybe PD add the TCR Civic as another Honda choice for GR.4.

RC F GT3 hasn't changed. Add an IS F GR.4 choice.

As mentioned before, Maserati Gran Turismo GR.3 and GT4 models.

I can see an RX-Vision GT4 Concept being built.

Supra GT4 and possibly the Green Brave GT300 being added to Toyota's line up.

Not sure about PD changing the Huracan GR.4.

I can see revamping Ferrari entries. Possibly just deleting the old cars.

PD add the Guilia as a Gr.4 choice.

Probably M8 added to Gr.3. Possibly adding M3 GR.4( I'm thinking PD will be adding more 4-door sedans in this game).

Ford GTLM added to GR.3 choice. I'd say PD would update Mustang to new body work than use the official GT4 car. Just because PDLOGIC ™.

Will PD update AMG GT3 to Evo spec?
Add AMG GT4 to GR.4 choices.

I can half see PD making a BR-Z GR.4 and adding the GT300 BR-Z to GR.3. The Impreza have been updated K. The last year's. Still not sure if PD will change the current cars.

McLaren 720 and 570S replace the 650 cars.

Jag remains the same.

Might see a Bugatti GR.3 entry.

X-Bow GR.3 and GT4

Audi TT replaced with RS3 TCR or an RS3 GR.4(AWD) and R8 GT4 added.

Golf TCR has to replace the aging Scirocco. Doubt it.

Thinking the Fiat 124 GT4 Concept might be a choice.

GT Academy 370Z GT4 added as a choice. Or the 400Z concept as a Gr.4.

Peugeot 308 TCR added to GR.4.

Megane TCR replaces Megane GR.4.

Camaro GT4 alongside C7 GR.4.
C8 GTLM added to GR.3.

Hellcat Challenger added to GR.4.

New GT3 & GT4 Vantage added. Probably the new GT4 car replaces the old GR.4.

MINI VGT GR.3 & GR.4

Should be interesting to see if PD have updated Manufacturers.

Somethìng to think: Prior to getting homologation, the Hyundai i30 N TCR was entered in GT4 class for the 24H Misano: https://motorsport.hyundai.com/i30-n-tcr-to-test-at-24h-misano

So apart from the TT Cup being in SRO GT4 BOP tests and my intrepretation of Gr.4 as more of Super Taikyu over GT4, it seems that PD's decisions do have merit.

I've mentioned S-Tai before, due to the Evo & WRX being in GR.4. Those two cars still race today.

I don’t get it, y’all were so big on not mixing disciplines and old/new cars, as well as keeping GT3’s/GTE’s in Gr.3 and GT4’s in Gr.4 (especially after the Megane Trophy situation.

PD are unpredictable. Guessing how the classes might look, may as well try to think what PD would do.
