What percent are you in GT4 so far? (JPN or Chinese version)

With my 21(ish)% I have 122 cars and 500(ish) days I have spent too long collecting cars (have to keep re-running the Costa di Amalfi Special Condition Easy Series to get the money). I really need a LM type car so I need to find about 270,000,000!!! Then I need to build up to the 700,000,000+ by day 696. Looks like my work is cut out!

It's actually the 694th day, and that's when the all black prototype cars come out in the used car lots for a period of one week. You need about 700-800 million credits to buy all four.

Hi there,

I am (again) having a few questions regarding the percentages calculation in GT4.. I’m at 76,4% at the moment and have just completed 15 of the first licences on gold (until then, I only completed them on bronze) To my surprice, I didn’t get a single percent? Does that mean, it’s irrelevant how good you are in the licence tests? Do you earn percentages by completing the arcade mode? What else do you get percentages for ? (except finishing races & cups)

I see you guys proccesing really fast in this game, is it easy to complete it somehow?
And the about the money...is it still the easy GT2 'cheat' (win one race sell the car and race it again and then sell the car etc.)?

I don't know how much that would be in the PAL version. Maybe 70-80million credits? Not really sure. But yeah, I kept racing and selling a rally-spec car to get 26 million credits each time, and it only takes about 6 minutes total for those races. Also, B-Spec helps a lot in progressing through the game at a faster pace.

Much easier IMO, except for rally and Mission Hall.

Current status is:

54.2% complete, day 1162, probably over 120 hours played just in GT mode. I know we put in about 12 hours of two-player arcade mode every weekend.

around 30%... but for those who have started enduro mode... whats the best car to start-off with? my 350Z LM can't keep up...

You can use the 350Z GT500 instead. If you look at the torque curve the 350 LM race car is pathetic. It is good for high speed application but not useful in any twisty race course due to the lag in the low rev range....

Yes, that's related. I didn't use the cheats that can also yield the points as I will play it by myself after knowing all the unlocks.

I have very few races left, and only 3 mission hall levels. I don't know where that 100% will come from unless they give me like 3% for a 24hr endurance race.

I don't think racing in arcade will give you any %+, does it? How about the family cup? I didn't notice any %+ after running one.

European, American & Japanese Hall completed.
Special Condition and Endurance Halls completed.
Beginner, Professional, and Extreme Halls completed except for the Formula GT Champ, that I am running now.

About half of Mission Hall is complete, and I estimate about a third of the manufacturers races are completed. Where the hell is the remaining 36%???

Maybe you need to complete the Arcade mode. also maybe you need to get all golds in the liecences.

I think the fact that there's B-spec makes it a bit quicker to complete. Also, once you get one of the faster cars (ie. F1, Prototype) winning most of the races makes it a breeze.
