Blackberry Bold 9700

I like it, I mean, it doesn't really have any cool apps or anything, and at times the web browsing is slow, which does not change, regardless of the state I'm in. The battery is great though, 3-4 days if I'm not using it to play music constantly. Keyboard is very easy to use, as well as comfortable. Overall, not flashy with lots of fun things to use it for, but works well for what I need it to do, but would not be my first pick if I was going to get a phone.

Plan to upgrade next month to an I-Phone 4... I'll have to get used to not having a keyboard.

Edit: Also it was nice that earbuds and a belt holster came in the box. The earbuds are pretty good, never felt the need to get better ones.

I've got a White iPhone 3GS 16gb, I like it, does what I need, I had the iPhone since the launch of the first one, then had the 3G via the 'early upgrade' program and now the 3GS, I'm not bothering with the iPhone 4, I'm gonna wait for the iPhone 5 hopefully sometime in June.

Previously I had a Blackberry Curve 8900 but the trackball went funny, and I found the lack of apps annoying! Now have a bombproof motorola Defy- much better!

I'm not sure why now people buy the iPhone 4 for such a considerable price over Android phones out there which do pretty much the same thing and is consistently getting more very useful content in the app market.

I've had a HTC Desire for nearly 10 months now and have been happy with it. :)

Motorola Droid, rooted and running custom ROM(Sapphire 2.0.2)...probably won't upgrade until Dual-Core phones are out in the wild...

Exactly! I had a HTC/Google G1 but changed to a blackberry. I was spoiled by the G1's tons of free useful apps and ability to chat using a single program. Not so with the Lackberry. The simplest app with a BB costs, yet now I get all mine free!

Blackberry Bold 9000.

My dad had this as a business phone, and the trackball broke. He sent it back to get fixed, and bought a new Bold (the one with the trackpad), and gave me this phone to put my SIM card in. I like it, but I wouldn't buy one if I had to pay for it, I'd stick with a simper phone.

Well I haven't really updated on a new phone for years... :dunce:
This is my current phone as of now:

Been using it since June 09' and well, its okay I guess. Not anything special as long as I can call, sms, and sometimes use to surf the internet through gprs. I know most of my friends in college are all already using smartphones (iPhone, BlackBerry, SE, etc.) and well, I do hope I can get myself a smartphone soon. Gonna wait for this to come out first... :D

A great replacement for my dead N-Gage!

LG VX8500 "White Chocolate"

Piece of crap. I'm on my 4th one, but I plan to get the LG EnV3, because it's just better. Plus, texting will be tons easier.the keypad's gone on my chocolate, so if I want a new contact, I'm screwed.

Motorola VE465.

Piece of junk. Front screen went blank a month in from buying it. Poor battery life, disconnected calls, texts, and the list goes on...

I do however like how it doesn't "break". It's pretty solid material and it doesn't scratch. I'll know for next time to do some research before I purchase another.

A very, very, very basic (but modern) Samsung. Texts, Calls and text-based mobile web.

It cost me £10 from ASDA and it's an absolute diamond in it's own way. I don't buy expensive mobiles because they're far too fragile. This is very sturdy indeed, and because it is only a tenner, it's cheap to replace.

LG Renoir (KC910)
Got it when it was first released 2 and a bit years ago (so 8mpx came out over 2 years ago), waiting for something truly great to come out, companies keep announcing phones that are obselete (10mpx & less camera) before they even go into production, annoying.

Great phone, never had any problems except for LG's patented alarm clock bug. I'm not an app whore so I don't care too much about those, except that it cannot handle the official F1 app.

I have a Samsung Tocco Lite at the moment on pay as you go however I want to get the HTC wildfire soon on contract.

I'd love an Android phone, but right now I have a Samsung Genio Slide, which, to be honest I absolutely hate. I bought it just because of the massive keyboard, which isn't really that good. Other hates are the resistive touch screen, which I didn't expect it to have, which comes without a stylus, the slide mechanism is crap, most of the phone is made of cheap plastic, the battery life is okay, but not that good and it's already been repaired because of a ribbon cable coming out and the interface is so, so, slow! The games are useless, 3G turns on without being prompted to and the processor is so bad, not a single site I tried worked. Ugh.

I much prefer my old Nokia 6100, which my mum gave me when she moved on to her 5800. I loved that phone. Even though it has barely any features, the battery was seemingly endless, it was indestructible, the call quality was brilliant and the chess game was amazingly fun. How I wish that I hadn't lost it. Maybe I haven't. I'll have a look.

The customization level for androids is really great. Currently I use a Samsung Galaxy S and I just love it. You can adjust the phone exactly the way you want/need it. Be it a businessphone, or a multimedia device, I really like it. And finally a display, which internet browsing isn´t a pain in the a** with.

Just upgraded my Bold 9700 to an HTC Inspire 4G. I like it, a lot.

It's nice to have cool apps and games, a large screen and lots of customization. There is just so much stuff that it can do/does. I've got a lot of playing around to do with it, but as of now, I like it more than my girlfriends Iphone, she however is unimpressed because it's too busy. It's going to take some time, but I'm very happy with it. 👍

Also, it seems very large compared to my Bold, but I'm sure I'll get used to that in time. I need a good case for it now.

I got a New Motorola Droid X today, to replace my Palm Centro..
It's great, the screen is large, although it could use a QWERTY keyboard instead of virtual, otherwise, it's great, the phone itself has 6 gigabytes of internal storage, then it came with a 16 gigabyte MicroSD card.

Also, it records in 720p :D

HTC Leo (T-Mobile HD2) which is running Android on NAND (As in i got rid of Windows Mobile 6.5 altogether).

HTC Evo for work and play, and a problematic Motorola Q9h for free talk minutes between family members.

Must say I really like the Evo + Android 2.2, although the battery life is my only complaint lasts about 3/4 of a day during average work use.

Yeah, the EVO can have some battery short comings at times. I've heard loading a custom ROM can help with that a lot; I just try to keep the GPS and bluetooth, etc off unless I am actively using them.
