I get coverage but I'd be happy just using my wifi at the house. I rarely use the 3G for anything other than checking email when I'm away from home and its not really even necessary most of the time. Looking forward to dropping that $30 a month charge asap.

according to verizon coverage map i get it, but it's so spotty that it cuts in and out making it unusable. it's funny watching my friends get pissed off when they try to use their 3g when they come over. Even if i had good 3g service i couldn't picture me using it enough to justify even paying for the $10 package. i find most mobile sites to be too cluttery. i guess i am just use to the good ol fashion computer

I'm actually looking at the Samsung Galaxy S II, but I don't know if i want to trace my HD2 in for it.. :(

Sony Ericcson Vivaz, got it in August, had to bring it back 3 times because it hanged all the time. And today I picked it up, some techboy came to me, asked me about my simcard, which apparently was already 10 years old, WELL THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM...

And they replaced everything inside the phone, and all they had to do was to give me a new simcard, I hope, I'm using my tel to the max for testing it!

Got a Sony Ericsson K850i at the moment

But im getting a HTC Desire HD, or the Samsung Galaxy S II

Probably the Galaxy...but I will see =)

Currently, a Nokia N97 Mini. Its a decent little phone, I like the fold out keyboard on it. But, it's very laggy and buggy. My contract runs out in October, so I'll be upgrading then. I'm interested in getting either an iPhone or a HTC Desire. Or whatever the equivilent is when I come to renew.

I got an iPhone 3G which is wasted on me because I only call and text. I looks good though and the alarm wakes me up for work. I like the fact it is so simple to use, I hate technology but find the user interface easy to navigate.

Motorola Milestone/Droid. My first decent phone I was using a 4 year old brick LG =/
It's replaced my iPod, satnav and NDS. Not that it can emu NDS but it does SNES and GBA so yeah I'm playing FF6 or Tales.

Nokia E71 here. I love it very much, probably my favourite phone so far. The only flaw I found is the rubber protective thingy that covers the Memory card slot and USB slot always came off the phone and the steel body itself cathing fingerprints. Other than that, it runs smoothly!

Everyone (well, most) of my friends has Blackberry's just for BBM. So I got an HTC Wildfire. It's useful, but a bit boring even with Android. Still, better than my last LG Cookie which turned itself on 9 days out of 10 :dunce: Mainly because this thing has an actual power on/off button. Also it takes forever to actually power on and it has a really low battery life. Charging it daily is one of the day's chores for me

Nokia N97 mini. Great handset (minus the touch screen being in responsive), but hopeless operating system.

I bought it because I loves my N95 and wanted a full keyboard as well as touch screen. Contract runs out in jan 2012 so will see what is out there then. Am leaning towards HTC at the moment though.

I just reckon phones are boring these days. They all do the same things. I remember the first time I could take photo's, play games, listen to music etc. Those were the exciting days. Now they all do it.

Haha, this is weird. Thats pretty much an identical review to what I wrote for the N97 Mini on the last page. We both had the same pro's and con's. I upgraded from a N95 too. The latest thing my started to do was to not notify me when I recieved a mesage. I had to go to my inbox to see if there were any new ones. It was ridiculous.

Not had that one yet! Mine is slow even after clearing the memory and using the trick with the calendar.

For some reason it always tries to connect to the net, I have tried to stop it and have removed most of the applications, chained the settings but it keeps doing it.

^ Haha, mine does the same thing with connecting to the net. I was at work the other day and looked at my phone, it was convinced it was still connected to my router back home. I was like hmm... thats about 10 miles away, somehow I doubt it :P

Mines pretty slow too, it just locked up on my now actually. Well, not fully. The phone itself still worked, just the lock button and the on/off button stopped responding lol.

What's the calendar trick anyway?

Have a look at:

http://symbianworld.org/870-how-to-speed-up-your-s60-device/

It actually works really well, bizarrely enough. But over time it slows back down again. So you'll have to keep doing it again. Give it a go, see what you think.

The slidey-lock thing is daft at times, can't make it's mind up!

It's such a shame, the hardware was ahead of it's time and the keyboard works. I would try to install a different OS on it, but I would only end up bricking it I reckon!

Awesome, I'll give that a shot today. I'll let you know what I think, thanks!

I can't see how it works though, it does seem very bizarre.

Yeah, the hardware is good. I really like the keyboard, its a nice size to be able to type quick on. I can't seem to get on with touch screen keyboards too well, nor Blackberry keyboards. They're just too small.

Hmm... Yeah I think you probably would. I know that's what would happen to me anyway, it would just be my luck

EDIT: I've tried it now, it does seem faster... Whether it actually is or not I'll never know, it could just be a placebo effect I suppose. But I do think it is loading messages/apps up faster. Its weird.
