What returning features will hold back GT6?

How DLC cars are only usable by the player. AI should be able to use DLC cars as well.

Just to clarify I'm not talking about what's wrong with the game (there are enough of those), im talking about what's wrong with the game that will still be in GT6. What do you predict.

I need to do some editing on OP.

Edit: Changed OP as well as side notes of suggestions.

Line hugging AI
Amount of "duplicate cars" - too many of the MX-5's and Skyline's (waste of space)

I hope ya'll know you can import your own music into the game is the jazz doesn't do it for you.

Added to side notes!

Four things...

1 - The limited Race Mods.
2 - The low amount of wheel selection.
3 - An A-Spec mode that is half what it should be.
4 - The fact I can't merge A-Spec and B-Spec modes.

Yep... that's it.
Added #1

Also do you think #4 will hold back GT6?

Same question to you.

Same question to you.

I know you're new here, but there is a multi-quote option and an edit option so you don't double or triple post and irritate mods. They also have this in mobile versions of the forums.

Besides A-Spec, I'm not really certain of any problems.

Top candidates would be:

-Afterthought/A-Spec clone Arcade Mode
-Limited car tuning
-Terrible tuning interface
-Some arbitrary omission from the physics
-Rabbit races
-Lack of practice/qualify
-Pointless things
-Inability to set PP and HP/Weight at the same time
-Ferrari and Lamborghini being the only road cars somehow
-Can't set "no tuning" while using other restrictions like Super GT (I don't remember now)
-Lack of minimum HP, PP, or max weight settings
-A favorites list that isn't unlimited in length
-Locked saves
-Gift limits
-GT Auto

Got custom music playing in the dealerships and GT Auto have you?

I don't just because I don't have he songs downloaded, really am not in the mood to spend $150 on music and am too lazy to torrent all of it. I'm gonna start to torrent 10-15 songs at a time until I'm finished. Then I'll eventually be finished, until then, I stick to Spotify.

You seem to have missed my point. Whilst you can import custom music there are many sections of the game it doesn't play, you are forced to hear the jazz.

No, you can set it for Menu, Race, and there's one other category. And you can delete the jazz - I think.

Trust me, it's impossible to hear your own music when you're in the dealerships, GT Auto and I think the parts shop. I'm not 100% sure on the last one, I haven't played in a long time.

Surely it is easier to turn the in game music off and have a computer nearby or mp3 device playing your own music, you can download Spotify for free and play a huge range of music for free :)

Easier than PD allowing us to hear our own music everywhere? No.

This is NOT a what's wrong with GT5 thread.

Then perhaps you should edit the original post, because right now it's all about "what's wrong with GT5". If you want the thread to be on topic, then stick to the topic yourself.

I think he's not looking for a "things wrong" list as much as a "things that need to be addressed" list, which in most cases are exactly the same.

That's a preface (to get what this thread is about) into the actual topic - the prediction list, stop nitpicking.

Add this to the list:
- Complete and utter BULL:censored: prize cars. ex. GSX/r for a Formula GT championship.

In order for them to keep me interested and get me to purchase games in the future they need to completely revamp their "career mode". This last iteration just felt like a boring grind. There was absolutely no innovation and in fact many features were stripped down from past games. Which is completely unacceptable considering it took them 5 years to release this game.

They need to introduce some RPG elements to the career mode. Evolve away from just being a "driving simulator" that appears to be completely focused on just collecting as many cars as possible.

I see where you're going and I will add.
Something along the lines of burnout paradise when it comes to RPG, there is a cityscape and you own a garage and the higher level you are the more cars you can fit in (gaps of like 75 extra cars per level). In the garage, you have a variety of cars and each time you want to participate in an event, you go back to your garage, "park" your car and go grab a new one and drive to the different event. And around the city, there would be different dealerships (new) and different "Bob's Backstreet" (used) dealerships. In your garage would be your saved tuning parts and lets say an "auto-parts" shop next to your garage. Seasonals could be called "track days" and could be put around at random race tracks in the city. The online dealership could be a "computerized" dealership in the game. B-spec should either be scrapped or I'll let PD work that one out. For special events, karting tracks and NASCAR tracks could be outfitted throughout the city. Rally could be driving "beyond city limits", and the grand tour can be at the airport.

This maintains the "driving simulator" of the game and also adds a unique level or creativity and fun that GT needs to keep up with consumer desires.

Kaz described the PS4 as a "blank canvas" so this, if on PS4 exclusively, may be possible, but if it were to be instituted into PS3, that could hold it back.

The Way Used cars were handled. The randomness of it all was a poor feature that will hold back GT6 IMO. I believe only 350 or so of GT5's 1000 cars were available to buy at any given time. Doesnt help that the used cars are always the same color, with the same mileage...

False: I've seen multiple of the same cars in the same entry in the UCD. They are typically have different colors and very different mileage. But on the other hand, yes, I'd like to see a better used car system, like what I mentioned in my earlier post about "Bob's Backstreets" dealers. So that out of a possible 100 cars, around 700 can be available at any one time, you just have to find them.

Well, if these guys actually put their back into the physics and audio, and focus on EVERY single car looking, sounding and handling accurately, then I might get the PS4 just to experience it.

Must have changed in an update

Classing Races in Beginner/Amateur/Professional etc etc. It isn't reflective of the skill level required and it is a bizarre classification choice for a game trying to be realistic in many departments.

Tuning - there is no way to quickly max out the tuning for cars. Instead the player must go through and, for instance, buy Stage One, Two, Three Weight reduction for a car to race. Why not just a quick select button? No doubt it is a familiar format which most of the fanbase knows how to use easily, but the actual tuning menu hasn't been streamlined at all since GT1. However, putting the tuning menu on the main page instead of under each manufacturer was one area they did improve from GT4 to GT5.

Inability to sell cars - if a car can be bought, it can be sold. Lack of being able to sell is a joke. As is the 20 million credit limit. It seems to exist only to encourage the player to continually go back to the seasonal events where PD acknowledge that the AI is 30 seconds slower than you if they drive the same car over a five lap race.

The obvious problem is AI, but I've no doubt it has been mentioned.

TBH, the tuning menu/options needs a COMPLETE overhaul.

The options and prices are utterly nonsensical, and seem like they were developed by a 12 year old in 1993. Why have realistic monetary values for the vehicles, but inane and inflated costs for upgrades that are identical across every single make and model? It makes no sense. And don't even get me started on a game that has NASCAR vehicles but no individual corner camber adjustment settings...

Lifeless tracks. It's always been a gripe with me, but especially after playing F1 2012 and how dynamic the tracks are has made me realize how lifeless the tracks are in GT. With the exception of Nurb 24hr's there's literally no activity going on around the track.
