What time do you get up for Christmas?

Not through any choice of my own but as soon as the first hint of sunlight starts to leech through the curtains.

That's quickly followed by the kids charging into our bedroom at breakneck speed informing us it's time to get up.

When I was younger, if I could sleep at all, I was up early around 6 or so.

Now, it's a day I don't have to wake-up early for work, so whenever the sun and/or ambient noise bug me enough to get out of bed

Past few years it's been somewhere in the realm of 1 PM.
This year I'm going to visit relatives, so I actually have to get up at a standard hour.

Same here. Good thing for me is it stays dark until around 7:45 this time of year!

5:30ish for me. :ouch:
Come to think of it though wouldn't have it any other way. Great to see the joy on the kids face.

Probably the same time I get up when it's not a school night: Whenever I feel like it. 11 isn't unreasonable. But it varies. Christmas doesn't vary it.

When I was a kid, 6 AM.

Now.... :indiff: :( the nostalgia hit!

I still wake up around 8. It's a nice feeling though. Wake up, gifts everywhere, joy, family cheer.

The night before though, we go to the church and after that hit up family. Stay up til 3AM. It feels like New Year's Eve.

As a kid, I would get up from 5-6 am.

Now? 8-10 am, but that's when I normally wake up any other day of the year.
