The VW lupo you win from bronze domestic B licenses was my first car. I assume a bunch of others had that one as their first car too.

an R32GTST from the 1980's used section... was about 9k... i didn't use the money thing from GT3... always started from fresh seems like the proper thing to do

my first car was a Mitsubishi lancer evo 1992.
then i bought a 2WD Skyline R32 from 1989 or something then i bought the Skyline GT-R R32 1989 and i won lots of races with the last one

Opera 350Z for me, I was curious if it was any good or not. Apparently it wasn't because I don't have one anymore (sold it and bought a AE86).^_^

Thats the one I got first.

Good for 200 point wins in the VW Lupo races.
The only game I needed to buy a first car for was GT1. All the others I won the License Test car.
First car I bought in GT4 was the Holden Commodore SS.

after I realized GT4 botched the SRT-4, I got a Nissan 350Z....Great car - especially for it's price (in GT4 where it's faster and handle better & more predictably than in real life)

Nissan Skyline R34 GTR.... :mischievous:

Legendary, handles 1300hp+, double-turbocharged, 300kmph+

The R32 was banned and abolished from many races because it was too fast and nobody wanted to race against it. :scared:

Need I say more?

Oh yeah that was the first car i picked with my $100,000 carry-over. 👍

S-Tune is the GT-R R32 tuned by Nismo, you probably mean the GTS-t. :) They're not quite in the same class.

I hope "R34" was a typo...the only Skyline that deserves the Godzilla name was the one that earned it in the first place, and that's the R32. Not to mention the R34 hasn't been "banned and abolished from many races." :indiff:

@crosstrainer: I love the R32 GTS-T because I'm an FR maniac, and also because over 75% of "Skyline fans" don't know that RWD ones exist.

Blusih purple R33 GTR. Bought with transfer creds. Only put a chip and stage one weight reduction to start so I didn't get close to spenging the whole 100k. It's still my fav car in my garage, the car I want more than pretty much anything else in real life, and the car I won the most races with by far.

Without transfer creds I prolly would have bought a Sprinter, thats what I started with in GT3. Let me think back, an 80s 4WD celica was my first in GT2 and an 80s Supra was my first in GT1.

Wow a lot of people didn't have the patience to start out with a slower car.

I started of with the beast that is a Fiat Panda. I bought it because it was the closest thing to my real life car at the time :D Plus its a Panda!

I first got the Lupo, Sunfire and Nike car.

Then I bought a white RX-7 Type RS 00'. Excellent handling and speed.
I had decided to get it as my first car before I even got the game, but I would have preferred a blue or black one. Not that it doesn't look good in white.
