First car for me will be random and un-planned. The car I go back to later, look at and think 'why the hell did I choose that.'

The max cr car will be the Deltawing atm. Really want to see how it drives.

I may do test runs with them and play around with my brother in 2 player battle, but for the most part I am going to play it a bit more "normally" and I am not going to use them until I absolutely need to. ;)

Damn, i wish my brother would play with me GT6 or GT5... He prefers racing games like need for speed... You're lucky! Lol

Indeed. ;) I don't mean to drag this thread off topic, but me and him both used to be real big on Need for Speed when we were younger, but once Shift and every other title afterwards came out, we both lost interest.

My brother kind of lost interest in Gran Turismo once GT4 came out, but after finding out GT5 had Nascar vehicles in there (he is a huge Nascar fan), he got back into it again and the fact all cars from GT5 are being retained in GT6 including them, I am sure we will have some fun together in there as well. :)

Anyway back on topic, I may just use the pre order bonus's for fun in arcade mode with my brother rather in GT Mode. Until I feel like I need them however. ;)

I lost intrest in need for speed after most wanted for ps2. I always do nascar with my buddies. I have over 300 nascars in my garage

Nice! You will have fun with GT6 together then! But lets stay on topic as you said lol

Maybe because starting a racing game with lots of powerfull cars is not fun and not in the tradition of a GT? I played GT5 with the chrome lines and now I regret... Everything was too easy. In GT4 or in another GT before GT5, it was so fun and exciting to start with a slow and cheap car, earning lots of money with it to finally buy a paganii or something like that, and all the joy that you finally have a powerfull car compared to what you had before... Starting GT6 with a r18 or huayra will be wasting the game for me... It is a brand new GT game.

Oh I totally agree, but I was talking about people who never use them at all, just to have all cars at 0/0/0

Whatever is available, I'll buy it. Sure, I pre-ordered and am getting the Anniversary Edition... but, like I did when I was forced to redo GT5 because of a dead PS3... I don't use them (the cars you get from pre-ordering, or the DLC cars) until I need one for a certain event. (Or, when I'm rushing to get to Level 40 A-spec before GT6 comes out, but this time around I do remember getting the 86 GT for free... and being forced to use that.)

And, for reference, each time I started:

GT1: Something. Don't remember what.
GT2: Nissan GT-S Type M (I think that was the name)
GT3: PT Cruiser (or the AE86.)
GT4: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (honestly my worst decision, once I realized it worked well for the Costa de Amalfi event where you would sell the Rally Raid car over and over again...)
GT5: Toyota MR-S ('99)

My first car would be a Honda Civic or a Suzuki Swift. And if I became rich ingame I'd buy an Aston Martin V12 Vantage in Quantum Silver.

Hm, in GT4 i started with a Lancer Evo I '92, GT5 with a Eunos Roadster J-limited '91. But for GT6 I don't know, It's depend on what cars that are under the 20.000cr budget. Maybe Civic EK Type-R

The Second car will be an Dino 246GT in Metallic Brown :P

I want to beat all licenses first, and get the rewards cars, after can see
what car sell for buy a best car for run a A-Spec race.

Reality: All we go to start GT6 with a Standard car hahah

Pretty sure this has been done before but I will have the 15th anniversary blue's brigade so..Ford GT40!! :D but I will have two games,so the "proper" first car for me possibly a Starlet Glanza V?

Probably a 90s small japanese crapcar, it's a GT game, having something like an Alfa MiTO, an Audi A1, maybe a Fiesta or a Ka would go against GT's tradition.

Damn, that sounds so depressing..

For my first major purchase a premium RS200 '85 Group B machine or failing that the Audi S1..

It really depends on what cars are offered in that price range and how many events I'll be able to use it for (possibly with some upgrading) before I need to purchase something different.

Usually though it's something Japanese like an early 90s Toyota Supra, Nissan Silvia or Mazda RX-7. I'm actually curious to see what changes are made to the whole "Used Car" buying experience in GT6.

As for the first "max credit" car I don't really see how it's possible to make an accurate choice since we don't know for sure what the maximum Cr. limit will be in GT6 (to my knowledge) or what / if any cars will cost that much. None of the 20mil cars in GT5 really inspired me all that much though, the only reason I even own them is because I had nothing else to spend the money on.

I do think the first ridiculously expensive car I have to buy will either be the Formula GT or some LMP thing that I'll have to use for one race / championship then can forget about.

Tbh ill earn my first 10 cars as rewards. Love licenses and specials.

Actually, this is probably what I will do as well. I loved earning my cars by getting gold on license tests in the past. It seems with the experience system gone, getting licenses will be an even bigger incentive now. That is, if they are smart with it and make the license system more at the forefront like in previous games. I used to love having the license restrictions in the past to get into certain races.:)👍

Reading this thread is pretty funny cause I can remember a complaining thread where the majority of people didn't like the Japanese standard cars or miatas, Yet it's almost everyone's first car.
Kind of ironic if you ask me.

And yes, I will buy a miata first.

they don't like it cause there was a million of them 2 or 3 different miatas is best IMO for a game

First car: Daytona Blue 350Z an '03 if its a premium option, otherwise the '07. If the Z is more than 20K then hopefully the Focus ST is within that price range

I'll be getting a Miata or Civic to start, I love to drive the cars on it's stock form, so instead of upgrading my first car, I generally buy some news and use the ones I receive as prizes.

I believe it's not going to be my second car but I'm looking foward to driving the SLS AMG around Nurb
