Good question, some of the higher end race cars I want I’ll already have just from the pre-order. If I would have to choose my first up to 20,000 would be (D) 510 is its available and in premium. Not sure on any other car, I’ll wait to see what is offered before that. The R18 is one race car I’ll be seeking, I’m not going to bother to drive any of the blue cars until I get a matching one of a regular model to see how much a difference between the two.

The first I am going to get in real life.

The same formula I used since day 1 of GT1, the cheapest car that will yield the best HP:Weight ratio with the remaining money I start with. 👍

Usually an MX-5, Civic or even a PT Cruiser are ones I usually start with.

Honda Fit Sport if there is one.

The expensive one will probably be a Ferrari F50. It's just one of my favorites, not sure how much it will be though.

If the FR-S is cheap enough, I'll get that. If not, I'll go with a tradition of mine and get a Skyline GTS-t.
Max credit car will probably be a Huayra (one in each color  )

It solely depends on how the used car showroom works.

If it is the same random nonsense of GT5, I'll guess I'm forced to buy the MX5, if the game gives some freedom in that regard then I'd go with the Nissan Sileighty '98, is an interesting that used in older GT's, an alternative for it would be the Peugeot 106 Rally. I just hate that random dealership thing at heart.

Then maybe go for the Sauber C9, HOPEFULLY premium this time, but I don't think.

I'll be doing it different this time

Im going to save up some cash first by doing license tests or challenges or whatever is available from day 1 that pays out credits. Hopefully then I can get a car closer to 40,000 credits that can win the early races without modifications. I've alwas hated dumping 20,000 credits worth of mods into a 15,000 credit car that I'll never ever drive again.

If Im forced to buy a 20k credit car Im getting something non-japanese for the sake of keeping things fresh.

The Prelude Si. I will not buy any new cars or modifications until i have reached 100,000 cr. If I'm strapped for cash and I can't complete any races I haven't already done using my faithful Prelude Si, then I'll be cheap and use one of my anniversary cars. :sly:

For the max cr. car, I'll pick the Audi R18 TDI. R18 FTW!!

My first car is always different every game. We'll have to see.
Same here. Starting from scratch in GT is my favorite part of the series. Plus not knowing which car I will win at the end of the series is my other favorite part. Hopefully they bring back the black silhouettes. Always exciting watching the dark outline spin around then slowly is exposed. :) I miss that from the GT series. Not sure why they removed that from GT5. :indiff:

GT1: Civic Sedan I believe.
Gt2: Daihatsu midget
Gt3: N/A
GT4: Civic
GT5: LanEvo 1 GSR (Owned one at the time so when I saw it in the UCD I became incredibly happy.)
GT6: Hoping for something thats not an MX5 just because.

Depending on how well the physics engine runs, I'll probably end up with either a r32, r35, or something else quirky and japanese. If a beamer e30 is in there I just might go for that because I'm silly

Miata or Used MkIII Supra. The MKIII Supra was my go to cheap car on previous GT games.
Max Credits Bentley Speed 8

Nice! You will have fun with GT6 together then! But lets stay on topic as you said lol
I will for sure! ;)

To be honest, I have pre ordered the game and I have been thinking about my first car some and I have come to this. I think I am just going enter my code for the cars but wait and download them later just so I am not tempted to use them too early in the game since I enjoy the treat of picking my first car. Starting with one of those DLC cars would just spoil the fun I have always had with GT for me. Reason I still want to get them is because I know I will regret it if I don't get them, just like in GT5. :ouch: Chances are if I can win a car for free from license tests, I may just do that instead of buying one. :D

I agree 100%
I really miss the Brand Specific used car lots from GT2 those were awesome! Even just bringing back the era used car lots from GT4 would be ok.

Gt2: an old MR2
Gt3: AE86. Then r34 gt-r
Gt4: can't remember
Gt5: Some white Toyota sedan, then 3000gt
Gt6: whatever, eventually 3000gt

I'll do the same thing I did in GT2 gold out the B licsense and see what I get and than go tune the heck out of it with the 20k and blow up sunday cup and go from there running on prize cars till i get to the farming races where I an just grind cash and buy what ever i want to.
I wish they would bring SSC into the game i want an aero pretty car fast car.

a Corvette C7, as I have preordered the game with a 1,000,000cr bonus.

Unfortunately that bonus is apparently +2 days away from the game (via email) and all those other Sony issues to be had, therefore I'll just get whatever looks pretty for an hour as I win the next 5 races to forever keep it buried as first car purchase from then on.

  1. GT1: Was the Mirage.
  2. GT2: Bought the Supra Turbo.
  3. GT3: First time I played it, I bought the PT Cruiser.
  4. GT4: When I went for a "No licence prize" starter, I bought a Honda Today and a bottle of the Laughing gas.
  5. GT5: Honda Civic Type R EK.
  6. GT6: Honestly? I've no idea what to buy. Depends on what the game is willing to give me via the licence tests and UCD, but I hope for a high mileage Ford Taurus SHO.

GT2 first car = JZA70 Supra
GT5 first car = ZN6 86
GT6 first car = 180SX Type X, Civic EG6, ZC6 BRZ.
max cr. cars = Stielow '69 Camaro, '64 Shelby Daytona, SLS GT3, Z8.

This.

I've not decided if I'll get the game yet though. I probably won't.

What the... whaaaat!!! I mean, it's GT6... It's GT! You can't do that to GT...
More seriously, why wouldn't you get GT6???
Because I think GT5 was a huge disappointment, and I don't know how much of an improvement GT6 will be.

I should be the one asking you why you have already decided to buy a game you know very little about?

Same as every time, the Skyline GTS-t. With max credit? Probably i'll go with the XJ13, because I have an odd fascination about this car and it's an absolute beast with no aids and sports tires and I love it

GT1: Can't remember
GT2: Can't remember
GT3: Chrysler PT Cruiser
GT4: 1985 Mazda RX-7
GT5: Mazda MX-5
GT6?? A Mazda Protegé. If they include a 2gen I'll be very happy (because I own one).
