Either I'll use the preorder Focus or look for an SRT4.

My goal is the Dino when I get the Cr 👍

Edit: Hmmmm no smileys in the new site update?

Because I think GT5 was a huge disappointment, and I don't know how much of an improvement GT6 will be.

I should be the one asking you why you have already decided to buy a game you know very little about?
GT5 was a disappointment in many apects, but it seems GT6 corrected the flaws! No more useless b spec career, it will be as in GT4, you will have to chose before starting a race if you drive, or if your b spec driver drives. They also added tons of aero parts and a possibility of livery editor. They also made the online wayyy better. New ohysics, new game engine, new technology (tessellation)... new cars, new tracks...
The list is long. But we Do know lots of things about GT6. The one thing that really disappointed me was the weak career mode because in GT4 and older GT's the career mode always was amazing, very long, full of majesty... Well that's the only thing I really hope they improved in GT6.
But so it seems you're not really a GT fan, I am trully a die-hard GT fan and would cry if I wouldn't have GT6 at its launch lol.

I have a love for really useless cars so I'll probably buy something like a Toyota Yaris or something.. Then I'll try to live with my poor choice for as long as I can by tuning it for more than it's worth. And probably finally give in and buy a real car. ^^

As a first expensive car it will probably be one of the GT3s, will need one for N24 in february and they seem pretty awesome. :)

My first car in GT4 was a used NB MX-5. My first one in GT5 a used NA MX-5. I hate them, so I might break traditions. I like the idea of buying a Kart and saving 15,000 to tune cars you win from licenses.

The first car I bought because I wanted it and not becaused I needed it was the Nissan GT-R in GT5, and I think I'll do the same in GT6.

You don't know about any of the improvements you mentioned. Unless you somehow got a copy of the game already, of course.

As for me not being a GT fan? I've played every GT game in the franchise, including GT Concept, GT4 Prologue, GT4 BMW Demo, GT HD, and GT5 Prologue. Being a fan doesn't mean I have to buy something that doesn't appeal to me though.

The difference between us two is rather that you are naive, while I'm not, more than anything.

You say he has not got a copy of the game and call him naive! But you have not played the game either, so you are naive as well. Your opinion about GT6 is invalid. The game has yet to come out.

Yes Strittan, as Ranman20 said, I'm talking about facts while you have a bad prejudice that GT6 is going to be bad. All the facts I've mentioned just make the game better but you still think it's going to be bad, prejudice... And yes, I do know about them, I can give you sources from GTPlanet and some videos. I'm not hyped for GT6 for nothing... So you are rather naive.

I honestly can't wait to try out many cars with the new physics on GT6 with comfort tires and no aids :) The cheap one would be AE86 Sprinter ( hopefully in premium ), then max Cr would be Cizeta V16T equipped with comfort soft in premium :P

1st car will probably be a Civic Type R EK '97 or a Ford Focus ST if that's within 20,000cr. My car with maximum cr. will probably be a Ford GT40.

Is it naive to wait for a game to be released before making up an opinion about it, and then decide to buy it or not? No.

He on the other hand, acts as if he already knows it's gonna be good and therefore decided to buy it, before knowing anything about the product.

Do we know what the in-game prices of the cars will be? I know the car list is available, but will the prices be the same as GT5? This way, we know exactly which cars can be purchased w/ 20,000cr.

He's not acting like he knows it's going to be good, all he's saying is that he thinks it looks good and it looks like some of the flaws from GT5 have been fixed in GT6. It is not naive to make an opinion as to whether you like the game or not before it comes out if there is trailers and information on it. Sorry for just joining into the disagreement but, I felt the need to state my opinion.

You're forgetting that PD has promised stuff many, many times before, without it making it into the game. Also, explain how I'm naive exactly. As far as I remember, I haven't said anything about how the game will be.

You didn't see how this discussion started, did you? I was being crazy, because I was skeptical about buying the game. Why I'm being sceptical about it, is simply because I haven't seen enough to be convinced.

Roughly translated, you're one of those fans that will buy the game simply because it has Gran Turismo written on the box. That's great for you but don't be surprised if not everyone here is the same.

Yes lel I'm like that :P But I'm not blind, I know it's going to be a super game, well for me the best game!

You said you're not blind but then went on to state that a game you've not played and know very little about will be a 'super game'. Just because it's Gran Turismo 6.

Yes, what's the problem? Where's the contradiction? And from all the informations we have from GT6, we do know A Lot, and these informations are very positive.

If I can afford it I'll get a Toyota GT86 or any of the equivalent cars (Scion or Subaru). If not it'll be the Miata, as always, and then the GT86 as soon as I can afford it.

Same car as every GT before, a white 240sx (or s13)

Then proceed through all the cars I owned since GT1, or driven on a race track since.

Considering the new info, I'm likely to be going with a nameplate that's stood throughout Gran Turismo, and it's a fun enough car in real life. It'll undoubtedly be under 20k at the beginning too, so that helps:

Mazda Demio Sport '10 :D
