$5, would be nice if they did 5 tracks for $20. But I'm thinking DLC is a pipe dream.

personally , $2 sounds like enough for any track. polyphony would generate a substantial amoint of revenue if just say 10,000 people bought the track ... maybe a weeks worth of time put into the track, for $20,000? sounds like christmas to me.

I don`t like to pay for DLC. Never done it before. But since this is my favorite game i will pay two Dollars for each track. Five new tracks for 10 Dollars seems reasonable. Especially since PD introduces new seasonals every couple of weeks (and refreshing the OCD). And they keep improving the game, OK, for the greater part small updates but still.

For my top 3 tracks I would pay $60, easily:

1. Grindenwald.

2. Tahiti Road (not the dirt track).

3. Red Rock Valley.

$2 or 3 tops. Small DLC packs go for about 3 or 4, so one track shouldn't be close to that.

That's a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

EDIT: whoops, double post. my bad.

I can't fairly answer the poll without knowing what track.
The track makes all the differences in the world here, though I'd say 2-3 is fair for a new track, 1 for a car. (of course it depends which car)

I'll just vote for "general" reference, meaning how much I would pay for something other then my absolute favorites.

Edit: looking at the poll results, I'd vote 1$ before 5, 5 is pretty ridiculous.

I would pay nothing. They'd really have to offer it for free at this point for me to be interested in it.

Any DLC I would want, will probably be included in GT6, so I'll just wait for that.

I'd pay 5 bucks for a GT5 version of Redrock Valley, Special Stage route 11 or Grindelwald.....ooh Grindelwald was so much fun, I miss this track...:indiff:

1.99, maybe 2.99 max. Anything over that as far as DLC goes is too much. Honestly I just want old tracks back first before new stuff. And I'd much rather have local tracks near me than world circuits.

Both that and Tahiti Road had gravel surface.

I really miss gravel, since it fits the old slower cars perfectly.

The faster ones would just spin out.

And you get an added 'closer to nature experience' you otherwise get at Nurburgring, exept there the tarmac is too fast for such a 'nature experience'.

In both dirt and snow rally, the cars go sideways through corners, so no luck there either. :(

for pikes peak or other extreme beautiful mount tracks i would pay alot (20$ , sounds crazy) but the fun you get is priceless........
the same for nice city tracks ( New York/LA/LasVegas)

That outlook on it means you never buy any DLC, because it's usually included for free in the next game.

Should have the answer marked with an asterisk because of that, big difference between just being a person that never buys dlc and saying dlc would be worth nothing.

No, Grindelwald was tarmac only, remember? ->

I think a lot of you have been brainwashed into thinking that paying $$$ for additional content is acceptable. Here is my math:

Game = $60
Game = Cars + Tracks + A-Spec + B-Spec + License Test + Special Events + Seasonal Events + Online Racing

Cars = 20%
Tracks = 15%
A-Spec = 15%
B-Spec = 5%
License Tests = 5%
Special Events = 10%
Seasonal Events = 15%
Online Racing = 15%

Therefor Tracks = 15% of $60 = $9/27 tracks = $0.33 per track

So for something like a Pack with Spa (which should have been included in the first place), <your favorite GT, GT2, GT3, GT4 track here>, and Circuit of the Americas I would pay $0.99

👍
I'd never buy DLC, wake up people - why do you want to pay for something rather than get it via updates?
Did we have to pay for GT by Citroen in GT5:P? Why do you think it won't be the case with GT5?
EA and the rest have brainwashed you with "all games must have an overpriced DLC".
Wake up, stop crying for DLC and start hoping for update(s).

in the case of EA and Codemasters yes, DLC are a terrible thing (they release DLC's almost inmediately after the release of the game), but here in GT% it's a different thing, the game its huge i've never played a game for so long and i'm still far from finish it, and in a couple of months the game will be celebrating it's first year!

I would never suggest dlc over free content. You act as if free content before (in the long wait for GT5, nonetheless) automatically warrants free content for life.
The difference here, (thank you, I'm not brainwashed) is that I'm willing to pay for some extras, as long as it all stays reasonable, and isn't there from day one.
I'll give you one guess as to how many dlc items available at release that I've ever bought, and a clue: It's less then 1.

If PD starts pumping dlc, and subsequently, pumping me, I'll stop buying it. If I want to pay oodles for games, I'll probably turn to PC world, have better physics for sims and use GT5 without dlc for my "regular car" fixes.

For a track that was in old GT's nothing and if they pull a stunt like that, PD is dead for me.
For a never seen again track in GT series, i would pay max 3euros, and to explain my self why i am not willing to pay more......cause IMO all that time that gt5 is out, they should have added the old tracks... Now, if they come up with "only" bran new tracks that you have to pay.... to be honest maybe i wont buy any.
Cause is more than obvious that they are trying to squeeze money out of an 1year old unfinished/bug happy game.

$10 if they put in singapore f1 circuit. That would so fun and I can drive on the actual road anyday to feel the differences or similarities. The landscape would be absolutely gorgeous too. For other tracks like spa and sepang, $2 each. Sepang would great as I can go tracking there with my car. Almost like track training on a budget.

My apology, it is a long time since I played GT2. However Grindelwald is not a place to race supercars, and thats why I love it.

1. Grindenwald.

2. Tahiti Road (not the dirt track).

3. Red Rock Valley.
