One of these days, these mood swings will kill me..

I've just realised today marks the 2nd anniversary of GTR2S. Two whole years since I pressed the button to create the Porsche Cup thread. I wish I could bring good news on this occation, but I'm afraid I cannot. Cringe warning.

...I don't know what to make of this, honestly. Are you stating that the people who run B-Spec series here steal ideas without really stopping to think about whether or not they already exist in B-Spec format? Is it a case of people going rogue for the sake of organization dominance?

Morten, I don't like the way you throw in the towel like this, I gotta get it out of my chest. You had your thing, you were going to do your thing. We were looking forward to it. I know I was looking to it, if anything. You seem to know what's wrong, if your words are to be believed, so why not try to fix things? Heck, why not see if you can unify this "no organization" thing? Breathing new life to GTR2 was your thing, and you were doing it to the best of your abilities... No one was criticizing you for anything, because most knew you were trying hard to get things right.

Well, I know I'm not an opinion-swayer, so I suspect all this will end up being moot. But honestly, it's not good news, it's not fun, it's nothing that can be perceived as positive. So yes, "happy" birthday, I guess.

I'm not killing b spex. MTP isn't killing B spec. VRR isn't killing series. GRL and company isn't.

Why are you seeing the same people? We're into this thing. We like to do what we do.

And as for the collab, you never really added your own two cents to anything even though I told you that if you wanted to share anything of interest, it's fine.


Sorry, being rash over AI racing, but if this is something to get worked up over, you probably need to step back and wonder what is making you feel this way.

And this big organization thing is basically just me, Earth, and YayoiGT2 trying to help each other out with our series. We're not going to take away your racing. We just want to improve our own series.

You're beating yourself up for something you shouldn't. Just take a long break, and resist the urge to return if it's truly the source of stress.

Apply that logic to whatever is happening.

Don't beat yourself up on this. You're fortunate to make several quality videos of GTR2. I've only made one back this past August. Granted it was mostly bone stock GTR2, I still was able to make a fine video I was happy to put together. I do applaud your passion to make material that ultimately leads to a fine video, but you're being too hard on yourself.

If it makes you feel any better, let me say I enjoy watching your videos. I actually enjoy seeing lots of GTR2 or NR2003 or rFactor videos from various GTPlaneteers. I surely enjoyed the GTR2 races and even cheering on some of my good mates on GTP (though these are AI racers) in these races. Anyhow... don't feel bad or hate on yourself too much. Take a hiatus from the game (like I have basically done late). Celebrate and honor what you've provided to us fans previously. Just don't feel bad over all of this.

Seeing as it's now been a weekend, I've had just a little bit of thinking time and I sort of slightly believe in karma, I think the least I can do right now is give people the huge apology I rightly owe them, so here goes..

I stand by what I said about ending all my current B-Spec activities aside from what I have going in Super GT (where I still need to find a driver.. that'll be much easier now) and see how things go. Maybe one day, when everything's more worked out over here, our drivers will cras- I mean, our paths will collid- how can I say this without it doubling as a reference to my history of utterly useless drivers? Seriously. It's like I've been given Taki Inoue's Digital Cousin and been unable to get rid of him.

Probably should do that two-year video I had planned, to properly (and finally) finish off GTR2Series.

I can now call this project finished. It only features clips from the videos made during S1 and S2 for various reasons. Mainly because those were quite the shenanigans. And because the in-game replay files didn't work.

It's quite loud, so I'd recommend not going in with your volume set to anything but the lowest setting.
