top ten for me is......metal gear solid on psone, castlevania: symphony of the nights (sorry i can't think of the whole name <8-), Kirby superstar SNES, a game called evolution or something on SNES (it was actually a really great game), thrasher:skate and destroy psone, GT series, the whole GTA series, conquer's bad fur day on N64 was hillarious, Half life 2 for obvious reasons, and Bad Dudes on NES simply for that story line (the gameplay was pretty bad, double dragon was much better)

Not that many people played it, but the old mac FPS Marathon (released about DOOM time) was a MUCHo better game than id software's. Better weapon balance, better atmosphere, WAAY better story, looking up and down (DOOM was only straight ahead), far better LAN multiplayer than Doom. Marathon 1 is my all time favorite game, quite possibly the most underrated/known about games ever made (due to the format).

If Marathon had gotten released on the PC instead of the mac, id software and Doom would be far less idolised. Doom was a good game, but Marathon destroyed it in every way.

Of course, Marathon's developer Bungie Software has gone on to prove to the world they were ALWAYS better at making FPS than id software, with Halo 1/2 massive hits and id software's latest Doom iteration being quite dissapointing and uninspired. Ho hum.

also i think burnout 3 is amazing...

GT4 is awesome...

resident evil 2 was gr8....

tht game show hosted by chef from south park for the N64 was bloody funny...

but the best??? pokemon red and blue... i know i know a tad sad but cmon.... who hasnt played em???
