Cool. That's definately a keeper. đź‘Ť

Here's a shot of my current mileage as of today.

Almost 51,000 on the Blazer, I should be there by the end of the weekend depending on the amount of driving I'm going to do. If I average it out I'm driving about a 1000 miles a month since I've owned the truck for about 51 months...I know I'm a math genius.

I've only put about 1,200 miles on my car since November. ;) That's almost 200 miles a month, yea I'm a math wizard too! lol You know what's great, now that I've done some routine maintence on my car for some unknown reason it's stopped leaking coolant and oil. Infact I don't appear to be burning any oil. Still runs strong with 238k miles, I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I might get to 300k if I take it easy.

Anyone here who's got more mileage on their original engine?

There was about 120,000 miles or so on my MR2 S/C before I drove it, now it has 132,859 miles. I wasn't the only one driving it though, my mom drives it, my father drives it, and my aunt takes it for a spin more than her dodge grand caravan. I wish I put all them miles on it. :guilty: I think 120,000 miles for a car from the 80's is quite low, compared to my aunt's minivan from the late 90's that has 93,000 miles or so on it.

My brother's 1985 MR2 has around 180k on it, at least before we switched out the instrument cluster a few months ago. What year was your MR2? Got any pics? I love MkI and MkII MR2's. đź‘Ť

1986 Toyota MR2 S/C, like in GT4. :D I would get pictures as soon as I get a camera. It is in red, slight bumper modifications, 5-spoke rims, and some other stuff I did not put into the engine and muffler changes. I love it's noisy and quick little engine. I might get a camera this weekend so pictures might be comming. đź‘Ť Too bad for it's low rigidity, which I might try to fix as I save up for fixing that.

Cool. Here's a picture of my brother's '85.

*edit*
The project is on going--infact we refer to it as a "salvage yard" on wheels. lol The funniest thing is when you see both of us get out of it--we're both 6ft and 230lbs. Sometimes we chuckle and start singing that clown car music sometimes when we get out.

My Sol is still running strong with 117,000 miles on the clock. The only engine problem I have is the paint that's chipping off the cam cover.

Our 2006 GTI now has about (big number:scared:) 23,600 ish miles. We got it at about 22,200 miles a month and a half ago. Well over half of those are mine. Not too bad for one of our family cars.

I cant believe this thread is still going. Anyway, the Prelude is gonna turn over 84k tomorrow. And I have to change the oil soon. đź‘Ť

In the same order as they appear in my signature...

214,000+ miles
8,000+ miles
Odometer's been broken for a long, long time

My 1992 Mini's nudging 27,000 miles. When I bought her in Feb 06, she had 11,500 miles on the clock... damn daily driving.

My 98' Almera has 97,000 miles on it, never had a serious problem. In the 6 years of owning it we've only taken it to the garage once to get a CV gator replaced which is pretty impressive imo. Japanese engines are the best:tup:

It would be cool to see a few pics of those cars with 200000+ miles and see what condition their in and how well they run, problems with them etc..

Are you being facetious? 15,000 miles in 15 years? You should walk instead of bothering to drive.

[edit] D'oh. Never mind - I should read instead of bothering to post.

Bloomin' n00bs. :dopey:

Was just going to point out your error, but your edit appeared when I quoted your post.

I'm at ~74,000 miles in my 9 year old car. It was at 34,000 when I got it 3 and a half years ago.

Keep that Impala SS in perfect shape, its going to be a classic--in about 25 years. Garage that mofo!

Wicked! :D I love that car... Only if there was more peugeots here in america. :(

My aunts Ford Focus SE has about 42,323 miles, all from her. :indiff: She never lets me drive, because she thinks I'm wreckless.

My aunt went to get my MR2 an oil change. Even though it had one about 2000 miles ago. I heard that some oils last for 15000 miles. I'm about to give my MR2 a wash later on this week, and pictures comming up later this week. IF I can get someones camera or cell phone. Everyone seems to have nice cars here on GTPlanet. đź‘Ť
