Question for the G27 owners with WSP, is the consensus that the standard G25 version good enough in terms of stability? If I don't have to pay extra for the larger/heavier deluxe version than I won't.

if anyone is in doubt about the quality of the wsp, dont. may be expensive but it is sturdy as anything, and folds up neatly as well.

Just ordered a WSP deluxe and it shipped 1 hour after I placed my order. That is service for ya. G27 also ordered from amazon today. Unfortunately it won't ship for 2-3 weeks, but they are offering a $60 rebate. $200.94 after rebate. :)

Update: Just got an email from Amazon. G27 will be here in 4 days instead of 2-3 weeks. W00t

I have ordered a Fanatec rennsport wheel stand together with a new wheel and will be getting it next week together with a new wheel, so I you can expect some kind of review...maybe I'll even do a video.

** Canadian buyers purchasing from http://www.wheelstandpro.us

Hi

I figure I'd also posted some information for Canadian buyers who are purchasing from "http://www.wheelstandpro.us".

Wheel Stand Pro Agent: Dale Litton

Logitech G25 G27 Gamer Wheel Stand - Deluxe $167.99 USD
Shipping via UPS to Toronto, Canada $ 31.38 USD
Canadian taxes from customs $ 21.45 CDN
UPS brokerage fees $ 44.18 CDN

I have to be honest and say that I was surprised by the brokerage fees. Especially since I contacted Dale Litton (ludale1@yahoo.com) who is a rep with wheelstandpro.us directly to inquire about additional fees and there was no mention of the brokerage fees. It is only after receiving a bill from UPS that I was informed.

At the moment I am very disappoint with wheelstandpro.us. This item could of been sent via USPS (US Postal Services) and it might of taken a couple days longer to get here but there would be no brokerage fees. Note that when you ship an item via USPS it is transferred to Canada Post for delivery here in Canada.

Hello

If you didn't know my nickname it's because i am new in this forum (actually this is my first post!)
I am planning to buy a Fanatec 911 GT3 RS V2 and i need also a wheel stand.
I have 2 stands to select from or the wsp isn't "compatible" with this Fanatec wheel?

Thanks
George

P.S: Sorry for my bad english!

Service in Europe, direct from Poland, is excellent. Ordered the basic Wheelstand Pro on Sunday and received it on Wednesday morning. No hassle, no fuss and good communication from the manufacturer.

To all Wheel Stand owners!

I am doing a litle research and like to find out why you decided to buy a WSP instead of the Fanatec RSWS or the other way round.

It does not matter if you tested both products. At the moment i would just be interested to find out your motivitation to buy either one of those.

So why did you purchase your WSP?

Or why did you purchase your RSWS?

This will help us to improve our product and service and will help others to make a buying decision. You can mention any argument like:
  • price
  • service
  • product design
  • product construction (adjustability, sturdiness ec)
  • user recommendations
  • test reviews
  • compatibility to this or that wheel
  • etc etc

Went with the RennSport Wheel Stand because it looked beefier, more rigid, sturdier. From what people seem to be saying, this seems to be the case. It also looked like it had a better platform to rest the pedals upon.

Same here. I went with the RSWS because it was said to be sturdier. The other reason being the base seeming to be a better platform for pedals.

hi guys,
anyone here who uses the wheelstand pro with the fanatec gt3 rs v2? is it compatible?
i am torn between the the wheelstand pro and the rennsport wheel stand. what i really like about the wheelstand pro is that you can tilt it back (in case you kind of lying in your chair).
cheers & thanks!

Hi Fanatec,
Maybe after the release of the Club Sport shifter you could design a Club Sport Wheel stand.
It could be a hybrid between a full cockpit and a Wheel stand. Bigger and stronger than a wheel stand with a side mount position for a shifter but smaller, lighter and easier to push aside and get out of the way than a full cockpit would be.

Now stop reading this and get back to work on that CS-Shifter...LOL
It is great to have you reading and taking input on the forums.

Broke down and finally bought a stand. I went with the WheelStand Pro for its price, and infinite adjustment. It should arrive this afternoon.

I made something similar out of 2x4s. Single post stand, but I have 2 board running towards the back where the seat is attached and one bar running forward for the pedals.

Does yours fold up and tuck away under or behind something neatly? That was the selling point for me, that and my wife loved it so much it was my birthday present last year. But for the WSP you are paying for the convenience it provides as well as being a very high quality stand.

Ok, gotcha.

I don't have any, so it would be like this:

Price: Equal
Adjustability: WSP
Sturdiness: RSWS
Compatibility: RSWS
Delivery & Contact: WSP.

Bassically if you are only you racing you would most likely want a RSWS but if a vast amount of people are racing then and you are using a Logitech wheel, its WSP.

Well after using the pad for GT 1 through 4, I've decided to treat myself to a DFGT for GT5... can't wait! Want to get a WSP too, I'll just have to not buy groceries for a week or something to afford it... well worth it!

Looks: RSWS :)

I could not help myself not to make a comparison
