Play with the Model SLS AMG ^^
Download all GT2 BGM to use while racing
Download Stealth cars and 5 custom GT5 cars
Then grind all through all the licenses

After installing it and downloading the Stealth McLaren and GT5 NASCAR stock car, I'll probably mess around with Arcade mode, testing out some of the new tracks, then jump over and check out the track editor and photo mode and then I'll dive into the licenses and get those out of the way and then...it's on to the challenges and the rest of the career.

This is what I am going to do when my signature edition of GT5 gets to my house.

Unpack it.
Have a look at the apex car book while my 21 year old brother plays it.
Have my first go.
Do the licences to get some free cars.
Have a look at what cars I can afford from the start.
Buy an awesome car.
Race.

Go through the joyous adjustment period. I've spent a lot of time with every title in the main series, and as such I get very, very used to the way each game does things, the physics model, the car selection, the menus, everything, and while the core fundamentals of what makes GT so special have always, for the most part, remained the same, the way each game delivers that experience is drastically different. This has made the experience of playing every new Gran Turismo for the first time a lot like getting back in touch with your first girlfriend that you had in 7th grade and fell madly in love with who moved to another state over the summer as an adult after 15 years of not so much as speaking. She's still the same girl you knew and loved so much back when you were kids, but she's more mature and into new things and has picked up new mannerisms and has a whole new sense of style. Everything is new and exciting, but comfortingly familiar.

There's an odd/even progression to the GT series, where the first GT on its respective console was a technological showcase and the second greatly expanded the size and scope of the first. GT5, though, is not only the greatest technological leap forward in the history of the series, it also brings with it numerous new additions and changes and the most expansive amount of content yet seen. It's radically different in most every way from GT4, which is a game I've been playing regularly for 5 years. The levels of new and exciting are going to be MASSIVE. I can't wait.

I'll probably download my Stealth Mercedes, then start browsing for a car to buy and start out my career. I'll do some beginner races, buy little improvements for my car as I win a little bit of money. Say "Oh! Now it handles a little bit better!" I'll probably get online pretty quickly and check that out. I'll wait to do license tests until I'm bored with what I've got access to and want to move on to more stuff. And I'll just explore all the stuff that's available, probably make a few tracks of my own, browse the gigantic selection of cars and say "Oh, I've got to get the money to buy this one! And that one! And these other 15!" Maybe choose which songs I've got on my PS3 that I want to hear while watching replays.

1. Tweak/explore the menus and settings (my SOP in every game)
2. Buy the cheapest sports car that I can find and try different race tracks

I probably won't be doing any modifications to any cars until I have collected every single car in the game. It's gonna take a looong time.

Welcome to the boards Pagani1. Please refrain from using Textspeech as described in the AUP. Proper grammar and sentences are a must, thanks.

Fist i will get the licenses,
then do races, get some cars.
then do some online races.
read the apex book from CE edition
then go back getting some more races
then nascar and then il see later. Thats what i plan maybe il forget and do it another way you never know

Complete all license tests (not necessarily gold all of them)
Then begin A-spec!
I want to try Kart racing AS SOON as it becomes available!

This is what I will be doing:

- Prepare an arsenal of PEZ, Mountain Code Red and my gaming chair at my house.
- Arriving at Gamestop at 7:00 am with coffee
- When store opens at 10:00am...pay for it, and rush home but don't get in accident or get a ticket, for it will cause 1 more delay :)
- Unpack game
- Smell it's contents...yes weird, I love the smell of new video games.
- Do the full install onto my PS3 HD
- While waiting 50 minutes for install to complete....read the 300 page APEX book, cover to cover
- When install finishes, launch game
- Go to car dealerships to gaze in awe at the cars I will be getting.
- Complete ALL license tests! If I get some silvers, I will go back and get Golds at a later time.
- After license tests are complete, head for the Sunday Cup.
- After racing for about 6 hours, I will enter online and try that portion out
- After online for about 2 hours, I will enter photo mode and try that.
- Drive to my brothers house to deliver him the GT5 CE, PS3 and 32'' 1080P HDTV I bought for him..yeah,. im a good brother.
- Play game with my brother for about 4 hours.
- Drive home and play for another 20 hours (Golding all licenses and racing more)
- Sleep
- Rinse and Repeat (minus the brother portion)

First of all INSTALL the game (full install), in the meantime I'll read Apex book, then I'll just take a few cars for a ride in arcade mode...then start career. As usual.

I don't actually have a PS3 right now, so I'll probably flick through the Apex and coffee table books.
Then put everything in my new wallet, admire my model car, dream about the game, and get my Logitech MOMO back off my mother >_>

1. Going to game at 9am to pick up my SE
2. Sit in back of parents shop admiring and licking the cd until 9pm to go home
3. Get home install game data and make car noises with my G25 for 50 minutes
4. Download Stealth and Chromeline Cars
5. 5 WORDS : Arcade, Mclaren F1, Clutch, Fuji
6. Then start with GT LIFE :)

Im gonna just sit quietly and think is this really true while the game is installing. When I see some cars, I might even cry a little. Oh lol its gonna be so absurd moment when I have this game.

Quite simply three things

1: Buy the game and let it install
2: Forget all the uselessly ridiculuous niggles and complaints that many people have said
3: Enjoy the game as i have planned for 5 years

First I´m going to try the TopGear Testtrack in arcade mode.
Then start career with the first licence test.
Then find out which car I can afford to start racibg with.
Then just carry on winning races and upgrading cars and buying new ones...

Can´t wait for wednesday to come:)

Get first license (f.e. call it B)
Buy a car (if not obtained by completing license)
Finish all the B License Races
Get License A
Finish all A races

etc etc

Getting all the licenses at once?
Been there, done that in GT2.

1. gold the B license tests
2. Buy MX-5 Miata and modify it a bit
3. Gold the B license races
4. repeat with A license, etc.
