When you get GT5... What's your plans?

I will play B spec mode until I save up for G27.... I refuse to drive without it.... If I am forced to pass a liscense in order to participate in B spec mode, then ..........I will not play it at all........ok maybee a lil, under my top secret psn name. lol

I canceled my CE but I will see my cousins over Thanksgiving, play his copy to wet my chops. Next day, I fly to Florida, drive back a S2k. Then buy a regular edition and play the crap outta it.
 
I'm going to do whatever the game requires I do to take one of the Ferraris (undecided) to the full Nurburgring layout and set some laps.
 
I have already booked the week of the 29th of November to the 3rd of December as vacations at work, and since we get a long weekend from thanksgiving... :)

I'll be quite busy those 11 days!
 
Yeah I told my boss I am going to die in a plane crash on the 24th - the 26th-ish. Then I'll let him know when they mended me up so I can come back to work. He was okay with this.

Since I live near by a crowded area (Union Square in New York), I plan to pick up the game from the local Gamestop with my GT buddy at midnight (probably still in my suit from work), shout, jump and in general make a scene outside the store about how its finally here ("Arigato Kazunori-San!! Arigatogozaimas!!!"), and then run back 4 blocks without rest back to my flat in dress shoes. Yeah.. a GT5 release deserves a proper celebration.

Also probably drink red bull all night and go to work the next morning with a severe GT5 hangover.

See all cars, what I can customize in a car, choose the car to 1st buy, then play wining money for the required cars for the Events and then buy my favorite cars like Lexus LFA, Toyota FT-86 G SPORTS Concept '10, NISSAN FAIRLADY Z 300ZX TWINTURBO 2SEATER (Z32) '89, Nissan GT-R SpecV '09, Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) RM '02, EVO IX MR and others like Audi's and Hondas.
 
first thing ill do is... SCREAM: FINALLY!

run in and put it in my ps3 (whic i turned on as soon as i wake up ! :P)

enter the options and fix the settings if any changes are needed.
storm into gran turismo mode and do the licence tests. Win a couple of cars and drive one of those (if any of them are worth while), and.. well go from 0% to 100% :P
 
1) Make sure I set the controller the way I like. Both analog sticks for driving. As well as the best sound and video settings.
2) Spend hours looking at all the dealerships, and menus.
3) Complete a few license tests. Maybe B and A. Not striving for gold, since thats left until you got around 60 to 70% of the game.
4) Check the dealerships again, and get my first car.
5) Race on the beginner or sunday cup a bunch of times until I´m bored, and I have money to get a better car.
6) Complete the rest of the licence tests.
7) Search for the money making race(like the special event on GT4 were you get the Toyota prototype rally car)and start building my car collection again.
8) Play with the extra features, do single races, and test my cars to see wich is the fastest(This is my favorite activity. Still doing it on GT4).
9) Start looking for news on GT6 and let the suffering begin!!!

*note: all of this is going to happen in a 3 to 4 year period*
 
play endurance races, because 24 hours of le mans and nürburgring nordschleife with day/night transition? I can fap to that. lol
 
Pick up game in the AM 24th, driving home will the longest drive ever, unwrap the masterpiece of GT5. Put the disc in and let it load for 30min if im lucky, while its loading, look at the book, make a sandwich and watch some sportscenter. After loading is done, sit in my brand new playseat and adjust the wheel to my liking, check out all the new things and take my sweet time, lady get home have some nookie make her happy, then play for the rest of the night until dawn.

oooh, I get what you mean by "Top Secret". I have an "HKS" psn name.

First check out starting Cr and shop for first car. Secondly, I'm going to clock in for some test, run a couple races, tune an prepare for Wangan races!

Props to the guy that started that out, I migh not even play the actual single player at all(outside of grinding)!

I believe a lot of people will play the champion/endrance races including myself too and I will do some research on a few cars and some others i forget that i got plans. I know i will have a few friends to play with on the line to do some best times.

Gonna have unprotected sex with the game disk.... then returning it to gamestop and buy a new (virgin :D) one and doing all licenses....
 
I will probably head into career for a short while first. Trying to get the Penniless trophy for spending your last credit. I alway like to start off with a poor car and tune it up to advance as far as I can without changing it.

After a little career, I'll probably work on the License test, trying to get Gold on them all.

2.turn on ps3 and connect it to internet
3.update my ps3 if needed (i bought my ps3 years ago for GT5 so i assume i need a firmware upgrade lol)
4.twiddle thumbs waiting for UPS guy to show up with my CE
5.full install while reading apex book
6.die and go to heaven
 
oh yeah, and my previous worries of having to skip school are all gone, i remembered that i get the whole thanksgiving week off :D freakin awsome, i get wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, and a little bit of monday morning before i have to go back to school, sweet! :D
 
Is there anyone out there who are just going to buy premium cars, or at least focus on buying premium cars first?

Plus, any advice for first timers to the GT series?
 
Well since i just found out i'm going to have to work 3rd shift the night my game store is doing a midnight launch, i'll be taking a 2 hour nap and then i'll stay up til i get all of the license tests done and then i'll probably crash...no pun intended.
 
Get a premium EVO if I can at the start of the game and destroy everything in the first few races then try to get a Samba Bus and modify that and hopefully get far enough to unlock the Lamborghini Miura and make an alpine course with the course maker and have some Matt Monroe playing so I can recreate the Italian Job intro :P
