Well...
I got my internship that day so I will be rushing home that evening.
Like all the others I for sure will check the manual while the game installs.
(reminds me to update my ps3 before that xD)
Then play the game with offline career mode.
First things first and that will be the licence tests...

After that the old fassioned Sunday Cup with hopefully my VW Polo GTI xD
or the Toyata Supra for starters. Rest will be history!

Go in settings mode and disable the music in game. :)

👍 yup done that with every version of Gran Turismo

Having heard some of the Improved Engine Sounds in GT5 , I really can't wait to shake the Walls in my flat

This might be stupid to do. But I think Iam gonna test the damage and physics first just by driving a fast car and crash around... I just gotta see if it is that horrible it seems to be in Tekken's videos... :(

For those who can't be bothered to wait, you don't have to pre-install the game. I think that the 'installation' is just transferring the cars to the HDD to make the loading times quicker. You can do it 'on the fly' by looking at the cars in the garages and dealerships.

buy the game at midnight put it in the ps3 do the pre-install go to sleep and when i wake up again its ready to play

After sleeping and eating as much as possible until the moment I can play GT5:

-I will adjust my Frankenstein play seat to be perfectly aligned 4 feet from my 32" tv.
-Try out the webcam for headtracking and see if its possibly useful.
-Options: Keep music ON and I will make Engine sounds LOUDER, Try to figure out G27 buttons to get a good configuration
-Buy a go kart
-Race karts until a good used car comes along (Fingers crossed for Audi Quattro)
-Sunday Cup
-Own License Tests (At least through I-A without stopping)
-Race and race and race until I own a GTI, TT-S and then an RS6
-Don't sleep until I have a video on Youtube of my RS6 snow drifting to an instrumental 'Sleigh Ride.' (I wish I could mod it to have a Christmas Tree on top)

Can you think of a better vehicle that will go along better with the Christmas spirit? I'm open to suggestions.

Yes, of course I won't only own VW/Audi's. I am partial, however. But, I will probably own them first. I'll probably have a 135i before I have an R8.

Look around the second hand dealerships (Is there any?), buy a 90's Honda Civic, If I can afford it.

Then race the thing to hell and back, and only buy a new car when its absolutely essential.

open the box, move all the contents from my old wallet to the new wallet, add the USB keychain to my keychain.

Take one off the books with me to to toilet while i take a crap, so i wont get crap-urges when ive started to play the game.

Put the 2 books in on of my book cases, start the game, visit the 2nd hand store and see if they have any of my fav cars.

And then start licecence-ing, and earning money.

Are there only Standard cars in the used cars section, or are there also premiums? I seriously want to start a new Gran Turismo carreer!! :D

Drive home 3.5 hours with the game in the trunk next to the G25 on my Wheelstand Pro. This way I'm not tempted to look at the manual. Arrive at my parents house and chit chat until mom goes to bed.

Thank dad for convincing my mom that they should get a PS3 as a blu-ray player with their new HDTV 6 months ago. He wanted to play Tiger Woods Golf and GT5P! Show him the benefits of the Wheelstand over his TV table set up and make sure he's going to get GT5 so I know what to get him for Christmas. Do arcade races or license tests with him. Whatever he wants to do.

Thursday we'll wake up by 8:00 and head to my aunts for Thanksgiving. I'll watch football, play tag football, and some Wii with the younger cousins. I won't play GT5 again until mom goes to bed.

Friday mom has to work so I'll have the entire day to play!

Terrible timing Sony. Terrible, but at least I'll have the game in my hands!

I am clearly not the only person to have this ambition, but I aim to fully complete the liscence tests before I get too involved in any racing of sorts.

Look at all the stuff included with the Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition-PlayStation 3 that I ordered from best buy and then prob start with the tests and then the photo mode.

Get back from thanksgiving with my family and in laws. Then pull out GT5 and start playing licenses. Then never log back into GT planet again.. well, until it's time for GT6.

Oh man...so how many thanksgivings will GT5 ruin? It's going to be tempting to play GT5 instead of chatting with family...or maybe...invite the whole crowd to play GT5 instead. Thanksgiving saved!!! :dopey:

- pass the damn driving test as fast as possible (bronze)
- get the damn yellow bird
- head online and let the asskickings start

Sorry if this is off topic but I couldn't resist but to add to the yellow bird. Now that we have paint options we can paint the yellow bird black then it'll be the black bird! :sly:

1) i'll probably do one last race at Eiger Nordwand in an RX-7, then a final drift run an Eiger in the Art Morrison Corvette

2)place the game with my other games, (wont be playing that ever again)

3) open up GT5 case

4) read the manual (like i always do for some reason on any new game i get)

5) put the game in

6) stare at my tv screen in awe while it loads

7) see if i can find an ae86 in the used car lot

8) take the car to gt auto to change the oil, and see if i can change the rims to the same ones as in initial d (of course) (or repaint it if it doesnt already have a panda like paint scheme)

9)then probably take the car to TRD to see if i can up the power and handling a little with whatever credits i have left, probably buy cheap tires (equivalent of N1 tires in prologue) and some super grip racing tires (R1) so i can have some fun on the hilly tracks

10) check out how the cars handle by doing a drift run on Eiger Nordwand, then just a regular race

11) do the license tests B and A (then the rest later on)

12) sell the prize cars if they arent concepts or interesting

13) do all the races i can with the ae86 till i have to buy another to complete the others

14) find a way to acquire the 1988 Chevrolet Camaro I-ROC concept car (which, if like gt4, will be a prize car for a camaro event)

15) and so on and so forth (and probably test out the track maker, and photo mode, and everything else for that matter)

and i got my G27, and i'm ready for this :dopey:

If there's a midnight release then go to that, come home, tell my parents im not going to school the next day, and do all the liscences and try to gold em before sunrise, then start career and save up for my Makinen Evo and my 2011 STI. But first car will likely be a late 80's RX7 cause thats what i own in real life :)
