I am just wondering where did you guys have your first drag race. As we know the common drag racing track used now is the ssr7 and the indy(if i am not wrong) but what about before?
For me it was on the straight of fuji speedway the track with the longest straight ever on f1 circuit(if i am not wrong lol)
So what about you guys where did you guys have your first(few) drag race

SSR7 doing roll drags against an NSX...

In an Atenza.

Mine was in a gallardo against a gtr...
I did'nt know that a gtr was that fast as the game had just release and i was thinking to myself how can a lamborghini lose to a nissan when we were lining up waiting for the "green light" lol but i was wrong

The topic reminds me of a certain swedish girl...

My only experience about drag racing in GT5 is the race to the first corner so in that field i'm still a virgin :P

Didn't the Nordscheifle had the longest F1 straight ever...

My first drag race was with a Chapperal 2J, then a couple of Veyrons, a Dodge Viper and then I gave up from being bored.

Indeed, the back straight end of the Ring is longer than that of Fuji speedway with the newest layout by approximately 500 meters in length, but so far as I'm aware, the straight of the Circuit de la Sarthe(old layouted)is the most extended one that can be seen in the game, tracks with an oval design like the Daytona speedway and Indy apart.

Mine was TGTT but Indy is by far the best because it already has the strip on the back straight roughly the right length aswell just needs a christmas tree and its all gravy.

Nordscheifle isn't the F1 track though, it's the Nurburgring GP/F.

Yes it is.

F1 only drove once on the Bugatti circuit in the 50s.

Nice thread title.

I drag raced around circuit de la sarthe with no chicanes, and I'll admit I got whooped :ouch:. Really haven't drag raced that much since.

Girlfriends house, oops sorry I misread :D

I used to love drag racing on the nurburgring nordschliefe straight :D I know thats probably a drag racing anti christ but I love it :D

My first drag was on le sarth, in my bugatti against a X1 lol. I run tune and hang out at SSR7 now.

Fuji Speedway

I actually just jumped in the room to turn a few laps and there only two guys in Civics in there doing some drag runs on the straight. I was in my fully tuned Lightning, and I pulled onto the straight just after they launched. I was able to catch up and walk by them before they finished their run. They're reaction over the mics was priceless. I have no idea how much was done to their cars.

My first was at indy, I raced a r34 tune for time attack on mini, I raced the others r34 and pull on em so fast they thought I was hacking lol, on any other car I got so left behind, that's when I grew up a need for speed at drag racing lol, later on I did a lot of tunnel drag racing then I stop playing gt5 but now im back at indy, I just wish we had the test track or a drag strip like gt4 on las vegas :D

i was at indy first it was too hard so I moved to Top Gear then SSR7

*Corrected :D

As for me, I was in my NSX, browsing the online lobbies. I happen to run into a drag room at Indy, so I joined. Never stopped going back :)
