Which AI Gt drivers do you like or hate?

They all suck.
And none of them know how to obey a blue flag and stay out of the way of a Tomahawk going 250mph on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th passes. 😂
It's the easiest ****ing thing in GT racing, too. Just DONT MOVE. Stay on your line, let the faster car overtake. :banghead:

Instead they do halfway between that and ACTUALLY getting out of the way, so you have to guess whether they're leaving enough room on the racing line or not.

I love watching the black NSX and the blue Viper mix it up. The fun thing about this AI is that once you get to know how each guy drives, you can predict where and when the passing opportunities are going to happen. The black Supra? Stay on his bumper and he'll usually crack and make a mistake. It just depends on if you have enough laps to catch him and pressure him for long enough.

There is no way that they actually have different "personalities". They're all exactly the same, just with pre-determined names and cars.

Every AI is different.
Some are fast in some races, some are slow, some times one AI is fast in one session and slow in another.
Sometimes, the AI is just down right stupid as stupid can be.
This is Wilk on the 24h Spa.
At the end of lap 8 it just starts to rain, he has medium slicks on, But this can be forgiven as the AI have thresholds for changing tires as they do not react to incoming rain like you can.

End of Lap 9 track is 50% wet, he does not pit for inters or wets but stays out on slicks.

End of Lap 13 still on the same slicks, but their is a dry line now, but he has less than 1 lap of fuel, does not pit

He continues to drive with no fuel worn slicks even when the weather changes again

But I hate them all equally as they're annoying as hell in any race.

Oddly enough. Wilk actually made the correct call alongside myself to opt for full wets instead of inters. Jumped from 14th to 2nd. Set second fastest lap also in the dry with a 2:18 while I did a 2:17.

On this front, I appreciate that a random AI can be the main rival, compared to Sport where the two uncultured M6 GT3s we’re always 1-2 before I dealt with them.

In this game, Portillo and his boorish Viper is my usual uncultured rival.

I have inside information, since I'm employed by The Company, that V. Gallo is actually Ernst Stavro Blofeld in a genetically youthified body, and running around the planet as a race car driver to live out one of his youthful dreams as he manages his global network of naughtiness. Check out this post if you want to read some cute fiction of my exploits. ;)

I'm sure that if M. Rossi switches over from Forza to GT, he/she can change your opinion in a heartbeat, or at most, a lap.

I guess it's nice for people who play Forza that Forza has AI with different personalities, not sure how that's relevant for GT7 where that does not seem to be the case at all.

And obviously if they changed the AI to have personalities it would be incorrect to say that they don't have personalities, but right now I'd love to see actual proof that the AI drivers in GT7 actually have different personalities (and not "I swear [insert random driver] keeps punting me off").

I kinda like the idea behind it of the real driver names, if they would some sort of have the same characteristic of driving style like heir real live counterparts. But sadly the AI is just not good and no fun to race against, they are just obstacles in the way on auto drive

Hate is a strong word, but, that Gallo guy in the Blue NSX on WTC 600 in Tokyo - I hate him. What an absolute maniac. He's hell bent on dispensing justice in the only way he can (against a Tomahawk), conveniently swerving into me just as I'm about to overtake him. 90% of penalties that I get on that race are as a result of Gallo being a knob. He sure wishes he could also cheese this event with a Tomahawk. He's not the only one guilty of acting this way, of course, but still, it's always him that ruins my perfectly decent lap.

The only AI I have respect for is a certain Polish driver... T. Baginski. Bless their soul.

Fraga and Kokubun. Those 2 are regularly diving and bumping when there is no reason or purpose. Also had a few massive bombs from way way back from Fraga. Others seem to change depending on the combo but those 2 are always messy or aggressive.

Its funny you say Hizal is clean because he's wrecked me at least twice as much as any other ai driver. I've taken to calling them dumb names to try and alleviate my irritation. Hi'yall, Fragglerock, Soupswallow, Gravy, etc.

Grinding Tokyo WTC 600 I've learned to hate Gallo, Kokubun and the guy in the red Skyline. Gallo is a douchebag, always bumping and making his way no matter what in his overpowered NSX.

I don't know but I feel like Hizal just chills in his black impreza, never getting in your way.

It's a shame because I've skipped several years of GT, I didn't know they are real people ant their AI counterparts stained my opinion on them.

Maybe the AI does not have a driving style per se, although I do think that would be cool, but certain cars have certain driving characteristics. The big heavy cars are my enemy normally because I am often on something lighter and less powerful. The Lambo and the Merc are the worst for me, braking too early, parking on apexes, then rocketing off. As such Beauvois and Harrington earn my ire frequently!

Bishop, Portilla, Beauvois...

About 90% of the times an AI driver crashes into me, pushes me off the track or anything does other nasty stuff ti me it is on of those three...Gallo can be annoying at times, but at least he drives clean

I hate all of them! They are the worst trained AI, that have no clue what a blue flag is! Also, GT7 preaches to us how "WE" must be better sportsmen, yet the AI are the worst! I would never want my name on any of the GT7 AI! If this is how the real people drive, then they all need a punch in the nose after the race! They are all moving chicanes!

R.Haywood and his blasted green Huracan at 600pp events. Not only is the straight-line speed of his Huracan unmatched by everyone in the event, but also that 8/10 his A.I. manages to P.I.T. me when passing him in corners, the places where I can generally only ever overtake him.

just amused me watching him try to get past my blocking lol
Sometimes I'm mean to him like that, if I've had a bad day. My brother wrecking my creative mood with his shenanigans - when he has a truck he could be using to earn seriously good money! So I pushed Blofeld - I mean, V. Gallo off the track at the dual turns leading into the tunnel and managed to park in front of him. He couldn't push me out of the way, for once, and sat there idling. I made sure we were a good minute behind the last cars before I let him go. And pushed him into the pit lane barrier.
