The best is the Mazda 787B cuz it is a rotary engine!!

I love that thing! It screams at redline. I don't really have a favorite sounding car, in the game most cars sound the same. Although in reality it would probably be any car with a boxxer engine. <3

i would have to say either the audi s4, rs4, rs6, or a fully tuned mustang gt. great V8 rumbles from all of them. there are probably some more but these are the ones that come to mind for now.

a really good soun is the nissan skyline 2000 GT-B. great soun at all rpms.

btw has anyone else noticed the weird sound the vw nardo makes. its has a 5.8L W12 engine and it sounds like a lawnmoer

I think I tried the Vanquish with full racing exhaust (once upon a time, can't remember exactly) and it sounded beautiful I think they're pretty similar in that department (if not the same, PD ..... )

The Mazda 787B makes a very sweet sound, and its probably my favorite of the race cars.

Stock cars.. i like the Jaguar E-Type with full racing exhaust.. sounds beautiful, as does the Ginetta G4 with the semi-racing exhaust.

On the opposite side of the spectrum the Karmann Ghia sounds like a washing machine and the '02 Camaro SS sounds like a rice rocket

The Honda NSX version you can buy in the dealership. THe newest one, in other words. It just has a very very nice depe throat sound to it.
Also the TVR Cerbera Speed 8 I believe? I mean the one you can buy in early '90s car lot. It sounds great with any exhaust.

Best sounding car in game?
The original gulf Ford GT40 LM race car from 69''. It has a incredible low evil rumble , and when you force the engine to do up to 6000rpm it sounds like hell breaks loose. Absolutely the best sounding car I ever heard in a racing video game. 👍

The chapperal 2d is very close because it almost shares the same sound of the GT40.
