The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 sounds pretty good with a stock exhaust, but a while ago I put a racing exhaust on it and a supercharger, and now it sounds like a Nissan Skyline!

I can't remember the exact name of the car (away from the PS2 at the moment), but I believe it's one of the 'Full Models' available in Nismo, and it's silver with a red/black decal on the hood, and it comes with black rims.

Do you mean the Nismo 350 Z Z-Tune?

not sure if anyone mentioned the nismo 270r (s14)
change the racing exhaust, and i think you have to p&p and balance the engine. the sr20 reminds me of a rb26 with a full titanium exhaust, but still nice in its own way.

Audi RS4 with a semi-racing exhaust. Its a V6 but now it sounds like a V8!

Camaro Iroc-Z Concept with semi-racing exhaust. Exact same as above, except its actually a V8.

Corvette C5 with semi-racing exhaust. Sounds pretty mean.

You said it brother. The same can be done for the newer Mustangs and the Spyker C8. Of course the Callaway doesn't need it. :sly: The Aston Martin V8 Vantage with (I think) a semi-racing exhaust is a sound you can't ignore :dopey: Especially at lower revs.

I tryed out the first two and I agree 👍 Is it just me or does the Camero with stock exhaust sounds like the Audi R10? Also, which C5 are you reffering to, the C5R or the Z06?

I think the audi s4 sounds great,
And the pace car that sounds good,
The lister storm what a monster.
the audi rs4 fully tuned great sounding car

Almost any car with a racing exhaust.:D I use the bumper view when I race, so when I look back to see where everyone is, I usually leave the camera on rearview so I can listen to th exhaust longer. :P

Not trying to flame or anything... But it seems that in every thead like this, there are always 3 or 4 people putting this car down.

Dunno how that one got in there? :dunce:

Honestly I use to love skylines, but their over hyped now-a-days. Seems everyone and their brother who's seen F&F and 2F2F are now die-hard skyline fans.

Great car, but 90% of their fan base no know nothing about it. Not saying thats you Max_DC, just the skylines fan base in general.

I really do get what you mean, having watched all three of them F&F movies, i hate how everyone walks out of the theater and BOOM, theyre suddenly the worlds most knowledgable petrolheads, and they believe nothing can beat a skyline or evo or supra or any of the Japanese tuning favourites, theyre great cars, but i would rather have a 106 S2 RALLYE, or an R5 GT-T anyday.

And having been (a very frightened) passenger in a skyline at full belt, i can honestly say its not quite as fast as the more humble RX7.

As for the best car sound.

I remember the first time i took the '05 mustang out, the car isnt as first as it should be, and looks almost tame in comparison to the classic versions, but that shotu is unforgettable.

Yeah, i do this too. 👍 It's caused me a few problems on occasion.

Could you refrain from using that term? Its frowned upon heavely here.

I'd have to say the Shelby Mustang G.T.350R '65, all stock Corvettes and Skylines, the Nismo Skyline GT-R LM Road Going Version '95, the Buick GNX '87 and Special '62, the FPV GT '04, all stock Supras, Imprezas, Lancers and RX-7 & 8's, and the Honda and Spoon S2000s.

(wow, that really is a list of GT4 car sounds I like.)

To me they all sound the same, maybe it's because I am practically tone deaf ( too loud a music for too long a time through headphones :ouch:)

however saying that the best sounding cars would have to be, either, the Black F1 or the model T ford (mainly because they would be the two hardest to get) :)
