Which car to use in ''Like the Wind'' lvl 21 A-SPEC Mode?

i used the mazda furai. turn up the speed and the aero and it worked, you win if from the b-spec miata race

Ok, I've barely passed the gran turismo all stars championship with a bronze in the RM Corvette ZR-1. Now I'm trying the like the wind, I have all the fully customizable upgrades, but where do I select minor figures like the downforce, braking, height and top speeds? I've looked everywhere???

When you are about to start a race, select settings at the bottom of the screen, (the spanner icon) which will bring up a menu for all your adjustments.

zonda r 09 ftw. Its a prise car. do an upgrade on turbo and racing soft tires

tune it to 440 kph. 35 and 55 on the spoliers. Absolutely off on ABC. 4 on tcs,

you can press gas without letting up on indy corners. just in case you are veering to close to the wall. just release throttle for a moment and then gun it again.

I finally got to level 21 and completed the Indy race with the Mazda Furai prize car, max mods and the gear ratio was set at 244. At first I couldnt do it but as soon as you MAX the downforce you can take all the cars in the the corners.
They catch up on the straights but the trick is to get in their way as they come up and get out of the racing line in the straights when you have a bit of space behind you.

I dont know what im going to use for the Daytona race yet, the Furai has an ridiculous power curve and every time the turbo kicks in I go spinning out.....I might have to switch the TSC on : (

my ZR-1 was not so good on the straights its 805bhp and it keeps spinning out on the turns idk if it was bad luck or just my driving skills but i really need help since b-spec is kinda boring and im on lvl 23 while most of the people are lvl 30 or even 40! and finished the gamewhile i still is in level 23 and only 50% of the game finished..

alright ill try and get the furai in b-spec. but if i wanted to adjust the camber/downforce etc. where is that?

You can find them all under 'Suspension'. Its located at the right hand side of the box.

You have to be in first by the first turn. Just shoot up the middle of the 2 rows of cars. The Veyron has sick torque so it will pull away coming out of turns, but you'll get caught in the twisties, BUT you'll pull back away on the oval.

All of the weigh reduction mods.

Feather the throttle, this is not a floor it and go win.

I did it in a stock Veyron with no mods other than tires. Wasn't first outta the first corner either. It was a bit of a pain the next coupla laps to both block and fight my way to first position at the same time, but it can be done.

Did it with the RM ZR1 '09. Piece of cake really.. Daytona is easier than Indy as you can own the AI in the turns. For Indy, max the downforce, and you're good to go. The other cars do catch you in the long straights though, but they don't try to overtake anyway. You can outbrake them into the turns, so its not really a problem.

I have the ZR-1 and no way not even close. I will try to put the down force all the way down but they have the F1 cars and they are light and made for the corns it is hard to compete. Now anyone with a stealth car is more than welcome to send one my way. I will take it with arms wide open

wohoo - just did it with mazda furai on the speed circuit wtih downforce added and all drivign assits turned off, did the daytona track with the Zonda which had no issues.

OK yes you can so the speedway with the Zr-1 if you put downforce all the way down and that should help you out. But It is one bumpy ride after turn 4 once you come out of it you better defend 1st.

Probably could have just stuck with my V12 for both races. I'll test Daytona with it later.

ZR 1 Rm no need to cut corners it's fast enough to win the oval by 10 sec plus 3min 50 or less for five laps. Gets you 117000 cr. Always go to this for extra cash. Haven't found another easier way to get easy cash in less time !!

I used the Formula Gran turismo to win mine and also did it in the Toyota Minolta Race car which is a prize car from an earlier event ... any of those will blitz it 👍

i also used a ZR1 RM with max speed in the tranny, and 35/48 downforce only, on soft racing tires. but my ZR1 has only 849hp, not 905 like most. i won Like The Wind on my second attempt with a hand controller, but i won by only 1/100th! and i got a special trophy for such a close win.

then i got my Minolta and the ZR1 is a slow car to me know.

I actually used Veyron on the Daytona Road Course =P.
On indy.....well, any class C car/ ZR1 RM/Furai/Looooong list can do it.
Keep your eyes open for some good UCD cars, I found a Nissan R89C for 3,87m there, which I used to win the Indy race.
