Which is faster supra or skyline?? Which is better at turning supra or skyline?? which accellerate faster supra or skyline?? Which one is BETTERR supra or skyline??

The R34 GTR accelerated faster than the Supra RZ on the 0-400m runs.

Turning-wise, the Supra should be better, as it lacks the understeer induced by 4WD. This is a bonus for handling, but 4WD is very resistant to wheelspin and sliding/spinning out. Real wheel drive cars like the Supra can be more agile, but are easiler to lose control of if your not careful, especially when tuned. Both are excellent cars, with roughly similar specs, so just go with the one you like more.

i tohught the supra wa better overal because i got a better time in nurburgring than skyline. I was drifting most the way and was driving both cars stock, But some people seem to do beter with grip driving.

I have done my own testing around Nur with a Supra RZ and Skyline GTR M spec NUR and the Skyline was less than a second infront after testing both cars.

They were both great to drive.

Faster as in topspeed? The supra(not sure, but it might be the rz) is capable of 300+mph. I've yet to find a skyline to breach 300mph.

Handling-wise, the skyline owns, hands down.

Overall, I'd take a skyline over a supra -- it's a personal preference.

The Skyline should handle better than the Supra, it's only passive 4wd, most of the time it's RWD, one thing regarding the Skyline is a lot of people recommend you don't buy the VCD controller for it because that removes the passive 4wd and replaces it with a constant power split front/rear so it becomes permenant 4wd. I suppose if you use it for the rally events that's a good thing but not so for the road races. The Supra is ultimately capable of a higher top speed when tuned, and both can be tuned to a very impressive level, but while the Supra can unltimately be the fastest in a straight line, the R34 GT-R's can accelerate faster. It's going to be personal preferrence on which one is better overall, some will prefer the was the Supra handles to the GT-R's, both are capable of very, very fast lap times if you set them up right.

I'm actually in the process of doing something in Excel to show accelerated speeds and top speeds for the current cars I own and I might post it here just for anyone who's interested. It'll take a while to finish since there's a lot to it but I'm doing 0-400m, 0-1000m and Top Speed using stock settings, stock + NOS, NA/Turbo and NA/Turbo + NOS.
To answer your question in the meantime the Supra will have the higher top speed and I'm not too sure about acceleration because I'm sure it'll depend on which skyline you're using and which Supra.

I agree that the Skyline R32-R34 has a leg up in the handiling and roadholding department in that it's an FR at heart (good agile handiling).
But push it and the ATTESA ET-S AWD system kicks in (uber roadholding).
So it has the best of both worlds.

For the MK4 Supra, it has a much lighter weight that the Skyline. and a slightly higher tuning potential. (plus it looks cool)

But they're both excellent cars in their own respect, so I have trouble deciding which one is better.

R32 doesn't handle like a FR at all.

it's not as loose as the R33 or as nimble as the R34.

it handles like a full-time 4WD.

i tended to have a problem tuning the supra to gain traction with high power output, but the skyline since it is awd no matter how much power you have, with almost any tire, your able to gain traction, but as said before the supra is rwd so if tuned correctly you can eliminate understeer, but IMO i like the skyline over the supra.

in GT4, i've driven stock 6.2 mile Supra RZ and Skyline R34 GT-R v-spec.. Supra did reach 180 mph stock at mulsanne straight. Skyline reached 165 or so. and when tuned, the difference in top speed is more obvious. Supra goes past 300 mph, whereas skyline stalls at 280 mph, due it's lousier aerodynamics. but, when we go to cornering, Supra is left behind, and same for quartermile.

Well I think, out of GT4 experience that the supra is easier to handle. I cant handle understeer very well but I can speed drift if I want. The Supra is totally my thing. But if I would choose, I would choose the skyline, somehow it looks better

Edit 2: And why is it that AWD performs better on quartermile? I mean if I remember the rule it was that front wheel drive aint a fast starting car cause all the weight goes to the back when accelerating. So I would think you should have all the power in the rear? I mean dragsters dont have 4WD do they?

Why is AWD faster if power on the front is waisted by the loss of weight there?

If you were to say supra vs skyline in a lap time battle in GT4 with any mods except NOS, id say Skyline would win. A good tuner can make so much use of the immense grip of the skyline.
