I don't think standard vs. prem. has any impact on my choice of cars. I've loved the entire GT series without a cockpit view and I don't see that changing now that I have the option. I haven't had the chance to see a standard car yet, but as long as there isn't a night and day difference as far what it looks like, then I will purchase my car list as normal.

I dunno if it's even gonna be on there but I love the Bugatti EB110. I love the way it looks, the sound it makes is bonerific and it looks like a blast to drive as well. Maybe it'll be available in the future as DLC?

J/K, I am really looking forward to alot of cars, but I would say my single most anticipated Standard, I presume, car in GT5, will be the '71 Cuda. I am a muscle car guy, and a Mopar guy, and I just want to drive that car with the newer physics, maybe even around Daytona.

I'm a classic sports car guy. I guess you can say I have a very "midatlantic" taste in cars. On one hand I love old muscle cars like the '79 Trans Am but on the other hand I love the Miura, Esprit and others! So I hope GT5 satisfies my two sides lol.

My game playing of GT5 will not change with "Premium's" and "Standards".
Same physics, same driving, same tuning, and I assume the same wing and wheel add ons as GT4.
But on topic, whatever Pontiac's that are out there. I have a thing for the Poncho's. The 2004 Pontiac GTO will most likely be the first though.

That people are posting cars that were never in GT4 is quite baffling to me, though.
That, the GT40 road car, the BMW 328Ci and the Nissan 350z Detroit Motor Show concept car. And the Mini for those who owned the NTSC version of GT4. There may be others as well (aside from the Diablo and Porsche, obviously), but those are what come to mind immediately.
There were a couple of cars that were rather obviously scratch rebuilt for GT4 despite already being in GT3, though, so you could sorta count them I suppose.
Edit: Plus all of the Formula 1 cars and the special version of the Evo VI T.M.E.
Edit 2: Plus the FTO LM.

Toyota GT-One race car (TS020) '99
I have a feeling this will be premium. It's one of Japan's finest ever racing cars and it's been featured relatively prominently in the series so far. As a comparison, the 787B is another Japanese legend and it's premium. Plus the GT-One wasn't in the standard cars video when other cars like the CLK-GTR and V12 LMR were.

I'm rather irritated by the amount of angry, "close this thread!" posts by those who don't even understand what this thread is about, and don't seem to have even read any more than the first paragraph of the first post.
Regardless: I'll probably pick one of the classic Japanese sports cars to drive first, a 2000GT or a Cosmo perhaps. I can't wait to see if the understeering boat that is the Superbird behaves any differently with the new physics, or if I can control the Stratos on the Grand Canyon. And for some reason, I have a strong urge to race a bright yellow Beetle in a one make endurance race at Suzuka or something.

Among other,I was about to name some Ferraris and Lamborghinis but they seem to be all premium,and from my point of view one badge that must or at least should be all premiums is alfa,I don't really care for a 90's japanese family car crappy interior,but I will love to see Alfas Interiors.

It's not a wishlist. All these cars are confirmed to be in the game because they were in the previous games (GT4/PSP).
It's not about cars you hope are in, it's cars you know are in and are most excited about actually driving. It's completely different and, in my opinion, exactly the kind of joyful pondering this forum needs. And people are ruining it.
