I had another take at the views.

Eventually the rooftop view feels a bit strange because of the high position. The movements of the car at that high point are more than what you would experience in the car. I love the way you can see the road though.

PD did a really good job with the cockpit view. But I think the psp screen has not a enough pixels to make it work properly. Try the Impreza 2003 rally car. 5/6 th of the psp screen is black cockpit. That makes it very hard to tell were you're going. I do really like the positioning of that camera. It is on the driver's seat.

The bumper cam in GTpsp is really a bumpercam and because of its forwarded position it feels strangt to me. It makes me turn into corners too late..

So what do I use now: chase view. Not really hardcore sim like. But in the end this view gives me the most fun. And that is what it should be all about. The great graphics and physics do help a lot to even get a simlike race experience in this view.

Edit: and back to roofcam again. It is the better view for navigating around Cita d'Aria.

You know what's weird, Cita d'Aria is one of the only tracks I don't use the roof cam, I use the cockpit view depending on the car. I got the Subaru Super Touring Car & it's awesome on that track w/cockpit.

Also I'm finding that the cockpit view is a hell of alot more fun if you have headphones on. I think they did a great job on the cockpit sound. You feel like you're inside because of the way the engine & air rushing by sounds & when you bump something it sounds great.

My only complaint about the sound is even though when you get into the different views, the sound is accurate to where you are but the engines seem to have been recorded close up because I know what certain cars sound like outside of the car & inside & I can tell that they only slightly modified the sound to make it seem like your outside instead of recording the engine from the other positions. The Enzo sounds waaaay off & so does the Bugatti Veyron which may mean they just used samples from another car but the cars I know for a fact they recorded still sound like they recorded them up close.

I'm getting a TV cable so the cokpit view is larger too

I'm fastest with the roof view, I set my record at Monaco using that view, cockpit view just seems to slow the game down for me.
