Before you reply, take a look at this.

In a relationship, lets say you find that one girl, that one girl that makes you laugh, smile, and turns your world upside down. When you look at her all you see is her beauty despite flaws she may have, because true love is flawless.

Now lets say she has a little pudge around her thighs, is that really going to matter if she makes you happy and has you smiling non stop whenever your with her? For me the answer is no, I will lover her regardless, yes if she went to the gym it wouldn't hurt, but even if she didn't, I still love her.

GT5 to me is like that girl, yes there are a few things that are in GT5 that ideally could have been done better or might be fixed later. However I am so happy with GT5 when I am playing, that it doesn't really matter in the big picture. :)

I´m very happy with the game! Played in just 5 days more than with FM3 in the last 6 months...

I only miss the online leaderboards...

I'm enjoying the race out of GT5. I haven't been able to put much time in it, but I already love it to death.

I don't understand where all the disappointment is coming from. I just see ungrateful peons whining about a nearly flawless game.

I am pleased with the game. Thank you for a positive thread about the game. 👍

I was with a friend last night (A REAL GIRL) and where watching Harry Potter in a theater, and all the 3 hours all I could think about was how I said yes to Harry instead of being at home playing GT5.
Now I'm at work.... please GT5 take my life away so I can be with you 24/7 =D

Ive been getting up at 4 and playing all day... Until tommorow, school!!!! I hate it so!!!! I wish it go away forever oh gt5 i miss you so

I am loving GT5 so far.
It is not perfect and in some ways Forza 3 is better but GT5 is still an amazing game.
The graphics when they are good are AMAZING, which a silky smooth framerate and the physics are incredible. The driving experience is unbeatable.
Yes, there are better GAMES but GT5 is definitely the best racing SIM ever made.
Like someone else said, I wish someone would take my life away for a while so I can dedicate all my time to GT5, treat myself to a high end racing seat, a G27 wheel and get down to some serious racing.

I woke up at 6:30am today, a Sunday, to play it. So, yes, it's not perfect, but I do love it.

The sad thing is that these threads never last as long as the complaint threads... Oh well

if GT6 releases for PS3, it will be my final GT. I'm growing out of games, but I've always spent more time on the GT series than any other games. I truly love GT5 and will play pretty often until probably new years 2012.

I love it a lot. My favourite GT game to date and one of the best games in recent memory. Shame about all the rushed reviews. The game deserves a better metascore.

I like the game too. I think all the people who are disappointed should blame themselves for expecting... I don't know what. For me, the game is even a bit better than I expected. The odd numbered ones have always been worse than the even numbered ones, so I knew this one would feel more like GT3 than GT4, if compared to the PS2 era games at their release.

The number one thing I was worried about was the driving feel. Well, turns out it's great. That alone is almost enough for me.

I quickly realized that the bumper cam is still the best view to use for driving. And since I cannot see my car while driving, there's no difference between premium and standard cars for me. All this paint crap and rims and stuff is ********. If you want a painting game, get Forza. Gran Turismo is for driving. All the mods I want, we've had since GT1, the mods that affect the drive, not the looks.

When I first saw the track list I admit I was disappointed. We now have a thousand cars, when do we get a thousand tracks? And no, a course maker does not replace ready made tracks, it only adds something else. That being said, now that I'm actually playing the game, the number of tracks has not been an issue at all. It turns out that, so far, twenty has been plenty.

It seems that the career mode is shorter than in GT4. This is a good thing. Grinding all those one make races, hidden in the showrooms, was a chore. With this game I'm more interested in what I can do after I get to 100% than actually getting there, so a shorter game is good. What I really need is a solid time trial mode, and GT5 has that.

Online? Don't know, don't care. Maybe if I get bored I'll check it out in a year or two, but for me, the local time trial is more important.

The one thing I still don't know is how easy and fast it is to eventually get the big money. I have a sneaking suspicion that, some day in the future, I'm gonna want to buy every car in the game, and for that I'm gonna need lots and lots of easy money. GT4 had it's cash cows, let's hope this one does, too.

But yeah, the bottom line is that with a core driving feel like this, a thousand cars in twenty locations, a course maker, and a bit of a game to wrap it all together, I have what I want.

It's the small details, though, that make GT5 even better than I expected. The magic is still there. No game is made with more love than the GT series. All the haters fail to see that. Some people whine because the Schwimmwagen and the Samba Bus are premium, but the Veyron is only a standard. For me, quirks like these are what makes the series great. I'm not going to drive the Schwimmwagen, because it's horrible to drive, but I love the fact that it's in the game.

When I first started playing I was disappointed with the game overall, I didn't see what took 5 years to develop. But I spoke much too soon. As I've been playing over the past few days I've realized what is really special about this game. Literally every car feels completely different and unique. It's the driving experience itself that makes the game. I think to truly enjoy it you have to actually be a bit crazy and obsessive when it comes to cars.

And then I got my 458 Italia, and it's better than I even thought it would be. 724hp, full weight reduction, full aero kit, CF hood, soft racing tires, and some special suspension adjustments ;) Man this car is friggen unbelievable! I honestly don't think there is another road car in the game that will drive like this.

Or am I wrong...

Loving the physics, some tracks like the Nurburgring and the Premium cars. Love the replays and watching the cars dance - bob and weave over the bumps and suspension take the load etc, really fun.

There's many flaws, faults, niggles. So much could and should be better, but I felt before buying it that it was more like a GT5P expansion.

PD really need more employees.

When you start comparing video games to relationships it's time to take a long hard look at yourself and say, I really must come back to reality and sample the finer things in life.

I too totally love this game. I bought the PS3 3 years ago ready for this game to come out. It's great playing it again and being amazed at the stunning graphics, effects and sounds.

My only niggle is that my A Spec experience has twice gone back down to 3000ish. Once when I was level 13 and again while I was level 14.

I'm still playing it and treating it like the money, you build it up and then spend it and it's gone, but at this rate it'll take forever to get to level 40. I don't want to nearly get to 7 million exp and have it suddenly go back to 3000. For now I'm just staying offline to see if that helps.

In the meantime, I'm going to do 'just one more race' :)

I love it! All of my friends are Forza 3 players, and they all came over and saw and played GT5 and they all hate Forza now. Even the ones that said GT5 would be garbage, took back everything they have said bad about GT5.

I'll admit I was unsure after the first couple of hours (that damn samba bus did its best to ruin the experience) but after my first lap of the Nordschleife I was reminded why I love Gran Turismo so much. I don't car about the karting or the samba buses or the standard cars or anything else that I will probably never touch, because the core of what makes GT so great is still there.

I was still playing GT4 a week ago so I can see myself playing this for a looong time

I have many complaints. But. . . this game is a total blast. I have complaints, but that's not going to stop me from playing almost all the time.

Very addicted to the game that's for sure, so yeah, I'm loving it. Not that it couldn't be better, and hopefully it will get better! :)

I love it.

It may be that I got my first HDTV and DFGT at the same time I got GT5, but the look and feel is so much better. I didn't get into the hype too much, so I feel disappointed by nothing!

I made out with the Disk and case last night and went quite far. Oops... I wasn't supposed to say that..........

But seriously, I love this game. Haters gonna Hate, I don't care, I almost cried when I stared at the disk.
