Man, I must be more popular around these parts than I think. I'm surprised, really, and honored at the same time. Thanks for that, bud.
👍
And since I'm here, I might as well let out a few of the people I would gladly meet in real life. Most of the people I follow are part of the list, but let's go with these ones;
@ilikewaffles11 - He's only been one of the people I follow for a short time, but just that time alone is more than enough to pick him as part of my "meet list". His collection of car brochures is incredible, and he is quite a friendly and cool person to talk too. I would love to go to Pennsylvania one day, just to have a long, nice talk about all things car related, and then ride shotgun in his old Supra.
@RCKakashi14 - Great guy, good storywritter and holder of quite a few Porsche scale model cars. And I believe he chose me as part of his "meet list" a few months back, so the feeling is more than mutual. It would also give me a chance to visit Hong Kong, which isn't half bad either. Not to mention that he could give me a few Japanese lessons, now wouldn't you, Kakashi?
@DurWinning - I've played a lot of War Thunder games with him, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner. He also shares a name with my real life one, which is ironic and cool at the same time. He also suggested me to have a nice little lunch/dinner at either a Denny's or Popeye's restaurant, and if I ever travel to the US of A, I would gladly have him as my food guide.
@SVX - Another nice guy who lives near the Pacific Ocean, a fan of anime and Subaru SVXs (duh). I can't really find a reason as to why I wouldn't want to meet him, so there you go. We could always have some sort of series binging, going through all sorts of wacky anime shows and whatnot. I'd say it would be a very interesting experience...
@Brend (aka the artist formely known as Classic) - I had some talks with him about different kinds of games, and he always came off as a passionate man when it comes to the enjoyment in playing a game, and not picking it apart while being excessively critic in the process. A very strong Splatoon! and Driveclub player with the skills to match, I could definitely have a 2-player session against him and
throughly destroy him lose very badly.
@wvmgmidget - Why wouldn't I want to meet the person who gave me this Premium tag in the first place, I ask you? And to top it all off, he's another one of those people who have a friendly happy-go-lucky personality, and someone who felt that I should deserve a Premium status.
Should I have a 100m dash duel against him? Obviously... not.
@Cano - Truly an anime connoisseur over at TGAT, and I bet that he still has many more shows, which he is bound to recommend me to watch. But that's not all; as fellow Rayearth fans, we can still share a few things in common. That and the taste in classic cars, I reckon.
@TB - Well, we all must meet one GTP moderator or two at some point, correct? And since Mr. Tommy Bomber ran the infamous GTP Hunger Games a while back, he earns this "distinctive honor" for being a madman with quite the intelligence to lead such an event...
@Jordan - Need I say more? It would be rather sad if I didn't think of the boss himself as one of the people I'd like to meet in person. I don't really know what would we talk about, but I'm sure that there are many things which could be used to start the conversation...
@McClarenDesign - Being a cool guy and an excellent leader of Car Of The Week's operations does lend you quite a lot of reasons to be considered as a great man. But that's really not all, he's also a car guy through and through, while also having a die-hard passion for all things Sauber. Again, all this makes him a key part of my list.
@Jahgee1124 - The other man who vyed for my upgrade to Premium status, and a guy who claims that I was "helpful in most NR2003 series around GTP". Me, helpful? That's preposterous, good sir. Ok, it actually isn't, and I'm happy that I can be viewed as a helpful kind of guy.
@nascarfan1400 - No matter what, this guy was the person who kindly allowed me to join his own NR2003 series, something which I'm very grateful for. Not only that, he's also a funny guy with a very nice sense of friendliness and humor. Now that I see it, I sure want to meet a lot of American GTP users, good god! 'Murica sure has its fair share of good people around here...
