Hope the Super Sport version would be in the game.
No it`s a 1971 Mustang Mach 1. They look very similar from a short distance away, however it`s not much of a coincedence though given they are both early 70`s ford coupes and share the same chassis design underneath.
The biggest question is whether the GT5 Mach 1 has a 351 or 429?
A dream come true Althought, It's hard, if make a car takes 6 months... How long ago was the Veyron SS presented?
Not sure, but it's basically 98% the original version visually.
I love how they even modeled the wrong engine placement on the 747 in the background (the engines were switched to dual clusters like that for the filming of James Bond: Casino Royale, which was partially filmed at Dunsfold).

And before anyone says anything, I only used the picture of the Bugatti Veyron SS because it was laying around my harddrive from a post at another forum.
It would be a an awesome game with just that lineup of cars.
So your saying that after PD went to the track, hired a helicopter, took tons of photos and video from the air and on ground, drove around and studied every detail that they somehow managed to get such a detail wrong? I dunno it looks like the engine are together rather than the usual style

Mr Lobo over at GTHQ also scanned the GT5 pages from the latest TopGear magazine. These may be better readable.

I present to you the two Countachs and the R8 LMS. All Standard cars despite not appearing in GT4.
Though I agree the Veyron is very, very likely to be a Premium, it's not 100% sure at this point.
It would also be nice if somebody told the editor of the "Ultimate GT5 Set-Up" article that ECII Trackstar 6000 wheel is not even remotely PS3 compatible, but it always go that way when journalist have no clue what are they talking about.
The Countach not being premium is my single most disappointment with GT5 . Since it's a new car to the series, I find it weird that they didn't model it up to GT5 premium standard

This info might be old, but:
The text in the right corner states they were driving in a 16 car race. This means 16 cars should be possible in A-spec.

Ouch they fudged up. Anyway I've never seen that wheel before, it's gorgeous in every way.Thanx.

Can I do it?..... Please can I do it?......
Why would it be possible online but not in A-spec or arcade mode though? I mean, we had 16 car races back in Prologue already!Indeed, that's the only info I heard about this until now. Until now it was just mentioned for B-spec and online.

This. Online takes more performance, so allowing us to race 16 cars online but not offline would make no sense whatsoever.Prologue had less polygons per car. It's still the same PS3 that has to render a much heavier game.
I wouldn't see any reason why it would be a problem if 16 cars online were already confirmed (i missed that).

Rumor has it that the Top Gear feature is based on a final version of the game, they were very impressed not only with the graphics as expected but also with the physics, namely in the crash with the 458 Italia, and the sounds as well. Just something to keep in mind.
IMHO, I feel the sounds (and possibly physics) in the final release will be something we have yet to see, far better than what we have seen at that.
