Premium Z32, that's, well, that's friggin' amazin. I've been just staring at it for a minute now, as it's one of my favourite cars, currently. I was worried I'd have to stick to Forza to modify one. But, as it seems, I can rest assured now.

Now all that's left is a premium AE86 Levin (or a Levin front end conversion for the Trueno). I'm so friggin' pleased right now

I too hope at least one of the two will be premium (hopefully the Levin as I personally like it more than the Trueno). The AE86 has been in every GT so far, so not including it as a premium would be a big letdown IMO.

I'm pretty stoked with a Z32 too, even if it looks to be the '89 and not the '98. One of my favourite lightly tuned cars in GT4; looks great in blue with R34 rims

I'm pretty sure one of the two will be featured as a premium car. The AE86 is one of the most legendary JDM cars of the 80's, at least to my knowledge. It's highly sought after in general and has a huge following in the drift scene, I absolutely can't picture it not being a premium car, really.
Thing is, the Trueno is the car that's more likely to be in the game...

On the other hand, PD might go with a standard Trueno and a premium Levin

It sure is a nice car. I'd actually rather have the Z32 than the Z33 or Z34, it's just a great car all around. And agreed, it doesn't need much to be turned into such a pleasing ride.

I guess going by your train of thought there aren't any Ferraris (since they aren't in this pic) or Lamborghinis other than that SuperVeloce (since they aren't in the pic).

Not just this screenshot!!! ALL OF THEM! The Veyron has not been in any demos, videos, or screenshots. It is not baseless, I'm really worried that the greatest car ever is a standard. I will lose all respect for PD if it is.

Less than 10% of the cars - add the tracks and their variants and this is shaping up into what will be a game-and-a-half.

Ill always be disappointed in this. If you're going to do something, do it all the way, dont half ass it. You get people excited about cockpit view, damage, then you find out most of the cars in the game dont even support it.

Oh my God! I was bothered because GT5 is always delayed, but now I'm very excited again! Apparently the sound on collisions was improved and pieces from the car will spray all over the track after serious crashes. I know Kaz had said that already, but now it's "more confirmed" .

The way the preview talks about the game is very exciting, as well as Kaz' answers .

I suppose that depends on your criteria for "best." If by best you mean fastest production car, then yes, it is. If by economical, inexpensive, easy to park, able to (safely) haul plywood home, etc. then not so much.

They've yet to show the Veyron in the game at all and they also haven't shown all the premium cars.. So there's no reason to assume that the Veyron is a standard car.

Not sure what the big deal is about the sighting of a V10 R8, as we've known its in game for a while now.

Anyway, the pictures and the article really are awesome. I can't get over how real they look, especially the lot of cars at the Top Gear track. Really stoked about the possibility of reworked sounds, etc. from the article statements.

yes you're right plus racing cars, group b rally cars etc. I should have best production car. Definetly not economic but if you could afford it best IMO
