Whole TG Mag GT5 Feature. Final.

For some reason a few posters still consider that car to be a standard model. Even though standards don't have raised door handles or detailed engine bays. Don't ask me why, I think it is honestly stupid, but if multiple people think otherwise than the are obviously correct.

OK, OK, whatever. Does it really matter anyway?

Looks Premium to me. But to be sure, we'll have to wait and see.

👍 LFA :)

Can't wait to get behind that beast :nervous:

PSP Veyron.

Menu screen might be a slight upgrade on that but it matches the postcard model.
Not that I'm saying it won't be Premium in GT5, just that we've not seen it yet.

I'm not getting into this again so that's my last post on the matter :)

Wait, wait, wait? Do you mean to tell me that you automatically disregard every car that isn't in this screenshot? Are you kidding me? I guess going by your train of thought there aren't any Ferraris (since they aren't in this pic) or Lamborghinis other than that SuperVeloce (since they aren't in the pic).

What a baseless assumption.

My sincere apologies to you, sir.

Why would I ask a question on a forum? Stupid me!

I will now shut up about the Bugatti and let you do the talking from now on.

Go ahead.

Oh, about those scans, it's not so much that I don't want to post, it's how.

I'll try taking pictures with my camera, since that is all I can do! But if I don't think it's good enough, I won't post.

It is a Evo IV GSR, same car we saw way back in the GT HD demo.

Awesome 👍

There are only a few cars I can't 100% ID, anybody have any ideas?

  • Second-from-last row, far left (M5?)
  • Black car beside GTbyC car (lights look a bit off to be fantasy IS-F tourer)
  • Two cars infront of the Samba; one looks like a wedgey supercar, other looks like another Jag XK (hoping for the 5.0L XKR!)
  • Audi wagon (I wanted to say it's an RS6, but the fender flares seem to be missing. Perhaps it's an S6?)

Ninja-edit: The XKR does indeed seem to be in; the Jag closer to the front has a hint of metallic side intakes in it's bumper! So the further back car is probably Prologue's.

Thanks. I had wondered because the picture makes it look whack, I honestly thought it was a Nova or something, it still doesn't look like the car it's meant to be in that picture to me.

Oh, I am sure it is. My eyes do not tell me lies! Right in front of the HPA TT.

Also, the British Racing Green Jag is the XKR, it's hard to tell in the photo, but with my own eyes on the paper, it's got big Hood vents and a Muscular front splitter.

I saw what it was even on the old small picture. The last thing it looks like is a Nova in my opinion, but then again, I'm a muscle car fanatic.

Can someone please tell what all this talk is about "premium" and non-premium cars? Are the premium cars the ones they took over 1000 pictures of each? And the rest of the cars don't have as much detail, so aren't considered preium? Thanks in advance. :D

Standards are the car models used in Gran Turismo 4. They are now in GT5 as standards. The car models with full interiors and lots of detail seen in GTHD, GT5: Prologue and the GT5 demos are all premium.

Standard cars are cars carried over from GT4 and GT PSP. They look exactly as they did back in GT4, with blacked out windows and no cockpit view, but they have updated reflections. There will be 800+ standard cars in the game.

Premium cars are the real deal so to speak, with amazing detail, cockpit view, realistic damage and so on. There will be 200+ premium cars in the game.

Ill always be disappointed in this. If you're going to do something, do it all the way, dont half ass it. You get people excited about cockpit view, damage, then you find out most of the cars in the game dont even support it.

Honda HSV-010 GT
4th row second column starting from the left rear side

No, that is a Takata Dome GT NSX-R NA2. There hasn't even been a HSV-010 in the Takata livery since it was entered into the Super GT series so it should be hard to confuse the two.

Has anyone actually read the text in the bottom right corner of that huge screenshot??
It says the guy drove a race with 16 CARS ON THE TOP GEAR TRACK, and then describes a crash with a Ferrari with words "458 hits me square on, There is a sickening crunch of metal AND GLASS and possibly bone. UNINDENTIFIED PIECES OF CAR SPRAY ACROSS THE TARMAC! Kaz laughs. "Big crashes!" he cheers. "all the time!"
Judging by that, I'd say the TG guys played the final version with full grid, new sounds and full damage simulation!:)
Now, someone with the TG mag, give us the rest of the text please!!!

You got it! New release date 2015

In the text is says: "Unidentified pieces of the car spray across the tarmac", and "a crunch of metal and glass" is hearable, that is new I believe.

Edit. Treed'

I can also confirm, that whatever you are looking at, there is no HSV-010 in the pic.

It would be cool to have in the game though! As it's  worthy

I'm more interested in the text. It looks like there will be many debris on the track...
