Whole TG Mag GT5 Feature. Final.

In the 6th row, what is the silver car behind the Z4 and the black car in front of the Viper ACR?

That's an old Isuzu concept car, recently revealed to be in the game, the car in front of the Viper is a normal XK.

By the way, I am attempting to get the features text well-photographed and uploaded, then I will probably sit for a while and read the magazine I got for myself!

Standard cars are cars carried over from GT4 and GT PSP. They look exactly as they did back in GT4, with blacked out windows and no cockpit view, but they have updated reflections. There will be 800+ standard cars in the game.

THis is 100% inaccurate Strittan.

Standard cars are not "exact GT4 models", that is missleading.

Here is the example of models used in GT:HD Concept project back in 2006, which was made by usage of GT4 assets:

ME0000695412_2.jpg

And here the the upgraded models for the same project 6 months later:

I think all of us agree that Stanadrd cars will not look "exctly as they did back in GT4, with blacked out windows and no cockpit view, but they have updated reflections", because above evidence from 2006 - 4 years old - clearly says different.

What do you mean no Ferrari? Ferraris have been in since the 599 GTB Fiorano intro for Gran Turismo HD in like 2007.

He means in the picture, which is a interesting observation.

No, it's 100% correct. You're confusing image resolution with car modeling. The car models are exactly the same as in GT4. But they are now in High Definition and with better reflections.

I thought you knew better than to bring this aged discussion back. :indiff:

All of the Lamborghinis outside of the SuperVeloce are missing as well? All that means is that they didn't put them in the picture. There is nothing remotely interesting about it.

Exactly, I'm not making anything of it but it's still interesting Ferrari missed out, considering how much we have seen Ferrari since GT confirmed their license back in 2006. Refreshing if anything.

We still don't know what 200+ means. It could at the time it was said have been 290'ish.

People were speculating on the number of tracks with the 20 and 70 thing. Now theres over 100.

So 200+ could by now be 300+. We really dont know for sure.

AMAR, as great a fan as you are, for the many giant pics, Strittan for bringing irrelevencies into this thread. 👎

Come again? A guy asked about standard vs. premium so I answeared. I didn't bring anything, I just helped a newbie out with some facts.

Probably because most people on here keep complaining that we see the same cars over and over in all the screen shots (Ferrari's and Merc SLS). If someone at PD reads this forums, which I am pretty sure they do, then they must be very confused. Example, they come in here and see people complaining that we see the same cars over and over, so they change it up with the article in TG, and now people complain that those cars aren't there in the new screen shot.

Also, I know the SLS is in the picture, but many people say they are tired of seeing it.

K guys, just waiting for a couple of things now. But I have taken the pics of the main feature, I will upload them in the near future.

Say, about 20 Minutes.
Nothing particularly smashing in there, but some interesting things.

This already happened in the General Discussion thread at the top of the GT5 forums. It has been done to death.

Though the pics people were using were very low resolution, you could only really make out Half the cars.

By the way, i'm doing the pics now, it's not top knotch, because it's done with just a camera on the light of the living room floor, but it's enough ;)
