I have already bought GT5P (jp version) and will buy it again locally...People say it's to expensive for a full game but I have got much more play out of it so far than the other 5 full games I have. Well worth it for me.

Same here. I've played Prologue more than any of my other next gen games, besides Forza 2. But I'm rapidly catching up with it. Prologue is the coolest "demo" I've ever played!

MGR, get the PS3. It may be a little pricey, but Wii has some stupid games out there like nitro bike. Plus graphics suck. Ps3, it worth it Hey, don't let me change your mind though.

May wait, may not, I really don't know. I've been waiting on the "right" game to come out before I buy a PS3 because my PS2 and games have been enough. I recently read an article about the upcoming release of this and a new Dynasty Warriors so that time is coming. My best guess is i'll get DW6 and wait for the full version of GT5.

April should be the date, that's at least what my local GameStop told me. However, we all know that date could easily get pushed back.

I'm gonna wait for the mighty colossus that will be GT5. In the meantime I'll try to finish GT4 for the 2nd time (70% currently) and play out some other PS2 games too.

I'll probably get GT5P, but GTA IV is coming out a month after, so I'm sure that will keep me busy until the real GT5 comes out.

I'm definitely going to wait. I'm not going to be like, "release this soon, or (something bad will happen)" like most impatient people. I don't even have a PS3 yet, so I'm probably hoping to get the game when we get broadband and a PS3. I can understand the impatience by people, but I'm not dependent on a game. Hardly ever. So I'd wait.

I'm yet to complete GT4, having not had time to play as much these days and having had to restart the game after losing my memory card

That'll probably get done over the summer, after which I should just about be able to afford a PS3 after moving into a new house blah blah...

That means I probably wont be getting GT5P, which is a bit gutting, since I've thoroughly enjoyed completed every (European) GT game up to GT4P. Oh well, you have to let go sometimes
$40 in the US does sound a bit dear though; that appears to translate to £25 in the UK, but amazon has that discounted down to 18 calamari already...

EDIT -> Just for comparison, I paid £17 (on amazon) for GT4P in April of 2004; whilst GT4 itself I'd preordered (again, on amazon) for £30 in December of 2003!

I can't personally wait for the real GT5 to hit, I am going to have to pick up GT5P to see what it is really going to feel like and look like. April 17th can not come soon enough!
