Will GT6 have Porsche in it?

PD could put some Porsche in the game, but they would have to buy a temporary Porsche license like Turn 10 did with Forza Motorsport 4.
Who knows? Perhaps they will do that as DLC.

We know this much purely from the raw numbers of Gran Turismo owners, and the fact that they haven't been exposed to Porsche cars in the same way they have to other brands. To argue that "not being in GT has [not] affected them in any way" is essentially to stand up in front of the billions spent yearly on advertising and scream "you do nothing". It does do something. Brand exposure and product exposure sells.

I can only agree with this.

Besides Mercedes (my dads old car) and Ferrari/Fiat (F1) I only got attached to other car brands through Gran Turismo.

GT made me fall in love with Honda thanks to the NSX.
GT got me interested into Corvettes. GT showed me what wonderful cars they are, I also grew attached into other Chevrolet cars. GT also rekindled my love for Toyota thanks to the GT86.

Now, I will never be able to afford a Ferrari and new Mercedes cars are out of reach for me too, but maybe Fiats, Hondas and Toyotas.

I never got that kind of attachment to Porsche. I didn't grew up seeing them dominate the 24h LeMans, I didn't experience them in GT. I only get into contact with that brand by seeing Porsches driven either by old man or young women. Im sure that someone who grew up in the 70s or 80s will have a very different view than me.

I know I would. It's like the guy Magnus Walker that fashions old 911s and then sells them. he owns the car, designs, modifies then, sells the car. A person brings their vintage 911 to him and he customises it. does he need Porsche's permission to sell the car as a 911? If I buy a 911 and I want my PERSONAL 911 in GT6( remember, Kaz owned/owns a 911), do I really have to go via EA and get permission? Again, Mark Webber owns a 911 GT2, if he or anyone famous like a Glickenhaus, want their personal 911 in Gran Turismo, must they ask EA first? Or is it good enough to just change the name to Yamauichi911 or Webber911?

"[Is that a] Porsche?"

In other words someone asked if the car in the picture was a Porsche and they said yes. Not exactly earth shattering.

No, its not. The reason Porsche got in Forza 4 via DLC instead of from release day is because Turn 10 were not able to come to agreeable terms with EA before release and it was only after release they were finally able to settle a deal to make that happen.

I will love to see Porsche in Gran Turismo 6, I really like Porsche, and even know Gran Turismo have RUF, I will prefer Porsche, but hey if we can't get it, wont change my mind and I will still buy Gran Turismo 6. I hope they can at least make every RUF a premium car!

Whatever way you look at it, its odd they have a Porsche in front of the GT6 booth, if they had sorted some sort of liscence out i dont think we would know until the content is actually released as it would make a huge surprise for GT fans that no one would be expecting anyway.

Someone must of specifically sourced a Porsche for the booth and surely they would of been told it would be a foux pas seeing as it is the one big player/manufacturer that everybody talks about not actucally being present in the game.

Definatly makes you think it may be possible.

There will not be Porsche in Gran Turismo, untill PD comes with great news. If it was in GT6, the great news would have been here for some weeks ago, so no!

I think PD is getting closer to being somewhat able to include Porsches. Way back in the GT2 days, the manufacturer description of RUF was that they were a complete reworking of "a famous german sports car" but in GT5 when reading the yellowbird's description Porsche themselves are mentioned at least once.

A lot of people on here have, it's just advertising that PD is allowed to use and nothing more. A car manufacture allowing PD to use their logo on a race track doesn't automatically mean they can use their cars too.
